Posted June 23, 200520 yr Dear RobertGoodmorning, Well,to use the theory of the five elements in feng shui, we need to understand the relationship of each of the elements, right? To come across of :-Productive= Water- Quote Wood -Fire -Earth -Metal (to strengthen) and Destructive= Water -Fire -Metal -Wood-Earth (to overcome and control). What is the Exhausting cycle = Water -Metal -Earth -Fire-Wood. Does it'smean as the opposite of Destructive. I am quiet confused here.Iam a strong earth which mean I have to increase metal element.Need youradviceand please enlighten me.Thank you in advanceWith warmest regardsSophia Chia

Therefore, Wood will consume the water exhausting water itself. This exhausting of water makes is good for Strong Water person. Not so favourable for weak water person. So essentially, it is similar to the productive cycle. Hope that helps.Warmest RegardsRobert LeeGEOMANCY.NET - Center for Applied Feng Shui Research
Posted June 25, 200520 yr Dear Robert LeeHi, thanks and gladfully to clear my doubts and enlighten me. Have another question. As I am a strong earth and husband weak water. He needs water and metal to strengthen his element. Right! Does that mean as well with his productive cycle helps my element too? A bit of complication here. The North West location eg. MS3, BS9, WS6 according to flying star chart report said to use metal (white/gold) to exhaust the weaken earth. Does that mean itsalso related to any memberof the family element (either to weaken or either to strength the element). I hope you understand what I mean here.Sorry for the confusing questions. Appreciate your reply.Thank you once again. With warmest regardsSophia Chia
