Posted July 26, 200520 yr I have hung an oil painting of 9 koi fishes in our living room. The fishes look active and very alive, except that the background, supposed to be water, is more to the greenish colour. Is this considered inauspicious?

It is always hard to comment something which we cannot see. However, most pond water tends to be greenish especially when painted at certain time of the day. Also, if the pond is very deep, the colour of the water (though blue), may seems dark greenish. I guess, there shouldn't be an issue as it is probably the painter trying to make it as realistic as possible.More important is usually the koi fishes. As long as they are fairly active and nice body size (ie not too fat or not to skinny), then should be ok.Hope that helps.Warmest RegardsRobert LeeGEOMANCY.NET - Center for Applied Feng Shui Research
