Hello, I must compliment you on a wonderful site. My husband & I will be building a house within the next year. He has made a sketch of the house but it is not a full square shape. It has corners missing and I'm afraid this may not be good feng shui. (the front S/E corner & the back N/W corner) Can you suggest the proper shape or maybe a good book which I may buy to read? If you require dates: mine June 13, 1962, & Dec. 7, 1958. Thanks!

There isn't going to be a single book that can tell you everything that you should look our for when you build a house. A home is unique and different depending on the location. However, if you at least read through the basic fun with feng shui course we have on our website, it should give you some ideal what to avoid.

However, it is always advisable to make sure you build a house without any missing corners. Missing corners are always considered inauspicious.
