The external shapes and form and the feng shui of the house itself is most important. Most will focus on the unit number only if there are two units of the exact same layout ie one is #04-01 the other is #08-01. Say you have such a choice then, you want to check to see which is better luck. In most cases, auspicious number analysis can be subjective. For example, if going just by sounding #04-01, because of the 4 which sounds like Die in cantonese, and 8 which is like fa (prosperity). Most chinese will prefer to go for #08-01.So unit number should not be the main focus of whether a house is good or not.
