I have a 12 feet pine tree in my back yard. About 3 feet above the groud, the main trunk splits intotwo main trunks.

Does this mean anything? My neighbour told me that is not good for feng shui, it that right? Should I cut it down?

Generally, any single lone tree may create like a sha qi to the house. Which is why, it is better to create a garden with many different plants together to form a garden, rather than just a single tree or plant. This firstly, creates a better landscaping which makes it more pleasant to look at.

Back to your question. Some people may view the splitting of tree trunk as inauspicious, because it represents a split. So may mean more disharmony for the house. Probably why your neighbout tell you it is not good. Because of this possible indication, itmight be better to remove it.

As mentioned, it is better to do some landscaping to make it into a garden rather than just have one or two plants on a bare piece of land.

Hope that helps.

Warmest Regards
