One of theChinese New Year tradition is to paste red couplets onmain entrance door. I have never done that before.

Questions :

1. is it alright to do so for every family or we need to watch out on our zodiac ?

2. what are the important things we should watch out when carrying this out ? like any special day or time to do so

3. my neighbourfacing my house hangs a red banner andis it ok to paste red coupletson my main door then ?

Generally, there is really nothing to worry about when you hang any couple / red banner or any other Chinese New Year celebrations items. All these are simply just a form or sign to welcome good luck into the new house.

So there is really no need to worry about a time to hang or put it up. Nor do you have to worry about having too much of it.Just go ahead and do it.
