I need clarification on how to best determine the direction of my front door. When doing the compass reading, am I suppose to stand in my doorway facing in to determine the direction? I appreciate your help, and thank you for providing this site and the free advice.

Determine the type of home:-

1. Apartments (2nd level - 7th level), stand at your main door looking outwards.

2. Apartmetns (8th Level & up), stand at your living room/balcony looking outwards.

3. Landed Property, determine which is the front of your house. take a reading from the frontage of your home.

Take the reading, based on the above definition.
