I hope you can help clarify something for me. Under personal Ba Zi / Feng Shui element report, it showed at the beginning that Kua type is wood (right next to the heavenly stem and earthly branch). But under it, the birth element indicated I am a weak Yin Fire and I don't want to be too weak otherwise I cannot take advantage of my Wealth Element.

I am confused. Am I belonging to wood element or weak fire element? Most important, I am trying to determine what career is best for me. I am having difficult time to change my career for the last few years. Sadly to say, I am very unhappy with my job for years.

Generally, there are a few theoriesthat can determine a person's element.

ie. Kua Type Element - is based on the Eight House personal kua concept which is based on your YEAR of birth.

ie. Ba Zi Element - is based on the Ba Zi analysis of your date of birth (ie day/month/year and even hour of birth). Since this concept considers even the day of birth, it is actually better than Kua Type element.

Therefore, the Kua element you see, is just the Kua Type Element. Whereas the ba zi determines your element based on the day of birth as each year will have different element sign depending on which day you born in the year. ie You can be born in a Fire Pig year, but you can be a weak water Fire Pig or a strong Wood Fire Pig.

In your case, your element is a weak Yin Fire person. So this is the true birth element that you should consider yourself.

In general, a weak Fire person generally lacks Wood and Fire. Exactly how much percentage you lack depends a lot on the balance of your five element. ie say if you have 5% Wood and 10% Fire, then it means Wood is what you lack most followed by Fire element. This portion is not in the free report, but in general, it means Wood and Fire element will be favourable to you. Therefore, you can attempt to choose for career in Wood or Fire or a mixed Wood-Fire career from this link:-
