Dear Master,

I am thinking about removing our old carpet and install bamboo hardwood floor (very popular nowadays). But I am unsure if this is harmful for me and the family as far as feng shui is concerned. I recalled a fortunteller told me that based on our four pillar analyses, both my husband and I are "earth" persons and my daughter is a "water" person, therefore we should avoid hardwood floor and wooden beds.

If bamboo hardwood floor is not good for us, how about fake hardwood floor, i.e. laminated floor with wooden grains?

Please advise!

feng shui does not work this way, you have wood every where inform of doors , windows panels, furniture , go head with your wooden flooring.
