A Strong Metal simply means that you already have too much of Metal and Earth. So having anymore of Metal and Earth will actually make you too strong or out of balance.

Water is the most favourable for Strong Metal since water helps to exhaust the excess Metal.

Fire destroy Metal so it helps to reduce the excess Metal to keep you in check.

Wood is also another favourable element because it destroy excess Earth for a Strong Metal person while at the same time being wealth element to a Strong Metal.

So to a Strong Metal person Fire is good for him.
