If the kitchen hall is bigger than the living room hall. Is there any alternation that can either reduce the size of the kitchen. Two rooms at the kitchen area.There is a pillar at the centre off the living room. Will the pillar cause any problem to the occupant family. What are the remedy should I place as the pillar cannotbe break down.

Please advice me. Thank you in advance

Side-track: This home would be "perfect" for a Master Chef!

Usually, in Feng Shui, the size of living room vs bedrooms etc... often denotes the characteristics of the owners. For example, a home with very large living room vs small bedrooms implies that the owners are
"adventurous" or in business, big risk takers.

Generally, other than egos or suppose "traits" of owners, there are no major concerns, other than "feel good" or "feel bad" type of situations.

As you had mentioned, one can still compartmentalise the kitchen commonly into two: dry and wet kitchens if possible.

Thanks for your advice. Well, regarding the pillar which was at the center of the living room and diagonally facing themain door. Is it possible to place a flute (phoenix and dragon) at the pillar.
