i live on the first floor and someone else lives on the 2nd floor. his bathroom and mine are not alligned and they are in diffent places. Would the bagua area that contains the location of his bathroom affect 1st floor's feng shui ?

Yes, the toilet especially if it is located above will definately affect you. The most common reason is that what happen if the toilet leaks, your room below will be the first one affected by the sewage water dripping down etc.


Secondly, the toilet is said to have the most dirty qi within the whole house, so of course having a toilet closeby especially above you. This is similiar to having the toilet located just above the main door. Which dirty the Qi.


So yes, it is considered bad feng shui and also not an easily fixable. I unless you also consider to move the toilet to this exact position.
