Hi there, I'm new with Feng Shui then my wife & I about to buy a house that we like but the stairs is right in front of the door.
I heard from my parents, stairs that directly face a front door is not good, we gonna spend a lot of money ? Is that true ? if it is, is there anyway to avoid this 'bad luck' ?
Thanks in advance !!

Yes, this is true. This is because wealth tends to flow from high ground down to lower ground. So if you have the stair facing the main door. It is like wealth flowing out of the house. That is why it is inauspicious.

Probably, if you already bought it, then you need to see how you can put a partition between the door and the stairs to prevent the wealth from leaking out.

If you have not bought it, then you should consider other apartments rather than this one.

Hope that helps.

Warmest Regards
