Waterfall flow inside or outside ?

I want to activate water star in front of
my house so I bought a small waterfall.
I confuse about the flow of waterfall,
flowing outside or inside is the right one ?

You should always remember that water is considered wealth. So ideally water should try flow inwards. To symoblise wealth flowing into the house. Should you have any water fountain, then it water should not spurt outwards. Else it wouldbe like wealth flowing outwards.
