Posted August 31, 200718 yr My house has a patio door on the back of the guest room but doesn't have a back door. My husband is planning to change his office's window to a back door in case of fire. I've heard that change window to door isa big 'no no' in FengShui so I'd likesome advice from Feng Shui experts on our case. I have attacheda diagram of my house.Any advice would be appreciated! Thanks.

Especially, if the door or window happens to be the frontage/backdoor location. It would appear that the window you are attempting to change will fall in the badkdoor area. So yes, it would affect the feng shui of the house. Thus, it is best you carefully analyse the impact of the change first before you do it.
