I'm looking atbuying a house and themain door opens out to a split door, is it "harmful" for the ones staying in the house? Is there a cure ?

Generally, if you open your door and anything that cuts or split in your house, this is considered inauspicious. As it is normally a form or sha qi or poison arrow. This means this wall/split will cut right into your house.

Typical way to resolve is try to block it. Probably like having at least gate with has half the height covered. Or even having some partition inside your house just after you enter into the door. Or last resort may be to use a ba gua to reflect the problem, but this may lead to bagua war as the other occupants may also put up one to counter yours.
