Hello!
I'm new here.. and just wanted advice on hanging crystals.
My room is very dark.. and my window only lets in 3 hours of light maximum in the summer.. so I would like to know what shape and size would generate the most light and especially rainbows :] and any info there is on hanging crystals.
Also any recummended websites to get from.. UK only sites.

Welcome to the forum!

To be honest, crystals are modern invention.

For us Chinese, just imagine a generation earlier or a few generations, back! There is no such thing as crystals!

In general, man made crystals only appear in my opinion, in recent times (may be 30 years or later).

Under the Holy Trinity of Luck:-

a. Heaven Luck - Is based on when we are born and our luck or our destiny from that day

b. Earth Luck - Feng Shui of a home or office

c. Human Luck - In the past, human luck does not really costs any monetary value. But, with so many people, using our feelings to get us to buy products in the "name-of-Feng Shui".

Usually most products are cheap to produce and have very high mark-up! So guess who earns most of our hard earned money.

Thus, if one wants to purchase a crystal, do it, for the "feel good" or for some decorating a dull room for example.

But logically, if your room is already dark, I cannot imagine how a normal crystal can suddenly turn into a glowing crystal or reflect light unless there is either a natural source of light or artificial ones that concentrates light into the crystal to bring all sorts of rainbow colours.

Truly, if you feel great about, it will boost the human factor and enhance your room.

I believe another alternative is to use flouresent lighting which nowadays, can brightly light up a dark room.

Thus, in conclusion, buy a crystal if you like it but not for the sake of Feng Shui. As these are commercial products, that's it.
