Hi, I am really concerned that the feng shui of our house is affecting my husband's career. We moved in 5 years ago. After about 1 month of moving in, he lost his job. He never managed to find anything for a while so he worked for family for about the next 2 years. He got a job about 1 year ago and just lost his job due to downsizing. Hi Kua # is 5 and mine is #1 and he has been sleeping in the north. It is his total loss sector. I think, I'll remove our king size bed and buy twin size bed so that we can face the bed in each of our best position. However, his best position will mean that he will sleep with his head directly below a window. Is that recommended? Also, our front door is directly greeted with a staircase that is 13 to 14 steps high. I know this is inauspicious feng shui. So can we stop using the front door and start using our sliding door entrance to the kitchen as our main door? Does that help the feng shui? We have been making some money, but can never manage to save anything. Money comes and go. Do we need to move?
Thank you.

Dear Anon,

To be honest, over a few sentences, it is very difficult to pin-point what is the issue.

Generally, if everything else remains the same and then when we shift to a new home; issues come-up. Most likely there are "wealth-leaks" in your existing home:

For the home Feng Shui, the leak(s) could be due to Shapes and Forms: do stand inside the main door looking outwards... check for any "poison" arrows such as lone lamp posts etc... or any pointed roofs of neighbours aiming either towards the main entrance door or the windows.

The other concern is how suitable the home is to the male breadwinner and other Compass School concerns and if possible the knowledge to neutralise these.

Frankly, moving home sounds simple, but can be a double edged sword: for the lay person, how are you going to know whether, the new home is better or could be worse off than the present home.

For things like Feng Shui etc.. better to seek professional help, if you can in your area.

Warmest Regards,
Cecil
