Dear FS Master,

In reading a flying star chart whether in pie chart or 9 grids format very often we saw a roomsharing 2different sector for example a room with NWand N sector in between. How do we read the luck of that room as it seems kind of difficult having half of NW sector and half of N sector in it.

Please advice.

Thank you

1. Unfortunately, since no two situation is the same:

1.1 for a Feng Shui practitioner; for a bedroom, we often try to visualisemore importantly where the bed will be located. In many instances, even if the bedroom is located withintwo or more sectors, usually we would find that the bed-head and if we lie down on the bed, where is the majority of our body lies. If so, this sector should be one way of checking to see if there are no bad sectors or if so, some cure need to be placed.

1.2 Following from 1.1. Rather than firstly get confused whether this sector lies in North or NW, we should take a look at the Flying star numbers for both North and NW.

1.2.1 In some situations, North may have #5 and #2. While say NW may not have this #5 or #2. If so, to play safe, if part of the sector has such nasty #5 (misfortune/sickness) star(s), even if NW does not have, we should then chart out on the cautious side that this BEDROOM should avoid: e.g. BRIGHT YELLOW colours which may accidentally inflame #5 or #2.

1.3 In addition, we may review further (by visualising) how qi would be "flowing" into this bedroom. For example, if the entire row of windows is closer to the NW sector and North is primarly within or closer to a corner (such as the wardrope) area; then, by virtue that there is higher probability that qi coming into the room should be coming from NW sector. And in this senario, we may consider NW as having a higher influence vs North (where qi may not be so active).

1.4 Thus, as we try to understand where the mouth of the house, we should try to look at or imagine how qi would normally flow in or from -- especially more prevalent thru windows or door(s).

2. Feng Shui as we have reviewed as I have revealed, honestly speaking is not an EXACT science! Most of the time, the higher success factor is to either visualise and apply logic and commitment in trying our best to look at all ways / methods towards a better assessment. Thus there is no such thing as only one way or method!

3. Another concept borrowed from SONY corporation: which many years ago, has this slogan " Research makes the difference".

4. In Singapore, a respected jeweller has this slogan " Tradition of excellence ". Simply we should not compromise - but have a passion in what we do.
