To get a compass reading inside the room, do I stand in the center of the room facing out towards the bedroom door? Or do I stand outside the bedroom door and take compass reading with my back on the bedroom door?

1. Unless one's home is a palace or at least more than 10,000 square feet and a bedroom is equivalent to or even bigger than some small homes put-together.

2. But, if it takes no more than 15 to 20 steps to walk from one side to another in a bedroom; then, it is not that practical to subdivide that room to look into that room's Feng Shui, sector by sector.

3. Many Feng Shui practitioners are "not-so-free" nor more importantly, find it not practical todo so. However, ifany of your room is the size of half a football pitch or an olympic sized pool, then go ahead...
