I had mentioned previously, a test of whether a home is concerned with a Sha Qi or poison arrow is to imagine if "a run-away vehicle could in a straight-line - smash into the home"... In this case, less lightly for the house marked in yellow as "A". But is more highly likely for house marked as "B". If one follows the purple line....

  6. I have specially sketched the illustrations to show certain inauspicious situations: 1. Picture 1 : It is inauspicious to have a door behind a table. 2. Picture 2 : Inauspicious to have glass panels at the back of the workstation. 3. Picture 3 : Inauspicious to have a table face a door. 4. Picture 4 : Inauspicious to use circular windows.

  7. This office which is directly `hit' by a `T-junction' where vehicles, move towards it has been in bad shape. Please wait loading picture (100k)... The building to the right is not affected as usually cars are parked on that side of the road. Both buildings to the left and right of this building looks lovely but not for this one. Where the roof is also in disrepair. Warmest Regards, Cecil Lee

  9. Part I - Case Study of Inauspicious Layouts =========================================== 1. Type of Flats: Housing & Development Board, Singapore (Government Built Flats) 2. Locations: Block 272A, Jurong West St 64 and Block 271D, Jurong West St 24 3. Enclosed please find two sample layout plans from designs found in these two flats. 4. Availability: Currently for Sale 5. `Threats' related to these two layouts:- 5.1 Riddled with major missing corners 5.2 Toilet at the center-point of the house (imply financial problems or money cannot be easily retained) In this first part, overall recommendation: Don't Buy. (There are other better layouts to select... Try to Avoid) Wa…

This office has its main door facing outwards. No wonder it is called `Poor company'. It is difficult to retain money here.

  12. Attached please find a layout plan where the toilet (toilet bowl) is next to the main entrance. This layout is considered inauspicious under Shapes and Form Feng Shui. Best to avoid... purchasing such a unit.

In this paranomic photo, you can see, at a distance, a profile of some of the towers of Suntec City, Singapore. This mega Shopping centre, office space and exhibition/convention hall uses, a smooth skin of reflective tinted glass covering it's skin. Considered as a defensive `posture'. To find out more about past postings of pictures of Suntec City, try to do a SEARCH for it under this forum.

  15. Common sense plays a large part in Feng Shui. For example, in the two examples; it is best to avoid sleeping with the head sharing the same wall with the toilet bowl's piping. In this illustration; these two layouts have one's bed-head sleeping pretty close to the same wall where the plumbing of the toilet bowl(s) are. Do a search for "Dangers of underground water" for more reading...materials

  16. 1. In this layout plan, there is a `close-call' towards nature's call. 2. This layout is not-as-auspicious since the toilet bowls of the shared toilet and master bedroom are close to the centre-point of the house. 3. Owner will not be able to `retain cash'. And finance is always up and down with little savings left - at the end of the day. 4. If specific windows are opened in the living room; there is a direct path or sha qi from the main door to the balcony or living room window. This is `curable'. But secondary to the `toilet bowl' issue. Suggestion: If CAN, AVOID buying this unit.

  17. 1. Development known as: The Abode at Devonshire, Singapore 2. In my opinion, this development reminds me of the glass frontage of the Fortredale, another Singapore high rise building with glass surrounding the building. 3. The Abode at Devonshire, is 15 storey high a small development comprising of 26 units. Based on the developer's description it is based on interescting planes of glass, concrete and aluminium. 4. Although it does not have as much as the `revealing' glass surrounding half of each unit, nevertheless, in my opinion, the frontage with `enclosed' glass is not appropriate for Singapore, a hot and humid country. 5. In my opinion, for a house, Qi cannot flow f…

Has PAC MAN anything to do with the designs of the various blocks of flats found in the attached street directory map? Or was the architect a fan of PAC MAN and wanted to immortalise PAC MAN in his/her design of the block of flats in various parts of Bukit Batok?

  19. Shaw Towers, Golden mile complex, People's Park complex and Katong Shopping Centre all these four buildings share one thing in common: the buildings were designed in the style of "brutalist architectural style". Majority of these buildings were completed in the early 1970's. The characteristics are striking vertical lines and circular pot-holes + cold concrete exterior finish. A term associated with the French which derived to today’s description as “brutalist” meaning bare concrete external structures. However in recent times, the building Managements of many of these shopping centres decided to give the exterior of the buildings a coat of paint: Gilden …
