    Where to put cash register

    Dear Cecil, I am opening a business center like Mailboxes, etc. and want to put the cashier right in the middle of the store facing entrance door; about 5-6 meters from entrance door(glass swinging doors - not mirror). We make 360 round counter and put 2 cash registers facing right (north) and left (south). The counter is also right in the middle of 4 symmetrical pillars (building foundation) that I cannot remove. I was told that placing cash register directly toward the main entrance is not good for cash flow. Please advise. Thanks.
