Getting King Sized bed for my bedroom
Further to what I had mentioned; from the investigative illustration of layout plan: 1. The Eight House chart can even identify; where is the best bed-head direction. 2. Even for couples; who sleeps where or which side of the bed 3. From the Flying Star chart: it is preferred that the bed-head is placed closer to WEST sector as this sector has good auspicious qi. While placing the bed sharing the toilet wall at SW is still ok for this bedroom. 4. Colours that bind the two partners in relation to the Flying Star numbers etc.... These are some of the information; for example to place bed-head; above Para 1 is used in the "scientific" Compass School of Feng Shui. Thus, as mentioned, unfortunately, without such minimium information; it is as good as bringing out a coin: Heads or Tails. Your sketch to such a limited extend is like the BLIND leading the BLIND.

Getting King Sized bed for my bedroom
1. As I mentioned; attached is already a simple "Investigative Feng Shui chart". Only the Master Bedroom is shown, in the attachment. 2. Proper Feng Shui looks at many factors. As I mentioned; the attachment is already a relatively minimium "investigative" chart. 3. Really, how am I seriously going to speak or even try to "add substance" to totally limited information on your even more rudimentary sketch that literally "nothing". Not even a compass (cardinal point indication); things like Eight House chart, Flying Star numbers, Ba zi elements and colours suitable to say the two partners in the master bedroom. 4. The best; guess would be like unfortunately, think "Heads or Tails": then throw the dice to see whether one should flip the bed or not - but consider like you mentioned; would you be comfortable with the bed-head against the other wall. 5. Frankly, having being in this line for so long; adults may / could /would find it uncomfortable with the bed sharing the same wall as the bedroom door; 5.1. In many situations; often, a child used to sleep with their parents; but perhaps the child had overgrown their stay in the parents bedroom; 5.2. The child gets "thrown" out of the master bedroom. Some of the more timid child or children prefer to sleep closer to the bedroom door! Why? 5.3 They feel that although they were kicked out of the master bedroom; sleeping closest to a bedroom door is like the hope that " their hearts and minds" are the closest that they can get to their parents! How sweet and innocent these children are! 5.4 We adults don't think this way! That is why your original bed is furtherest and with the best view of anyone unexpectedly coming in to the room. 6. Therefore, compare to a chart where we have quite alot of information on hand; therefore how to comment on a barren patch of sketch? Unfortunately it is beyond me.. and everyone else who apply holistic Feng Shui. Got it, Get it? 7. Frankly, the best you can hope, here is You may have to go by "trial and error" Feng Shui.. Try it out and see how...

Getting King Sized bed for my bedroom
1. Frankly, your sketch is like " too sketchy ". Can't even see how the door swings into the bedroom. So how to comment? Your sketch shows the area where the main door is a "slab" of some hazy foggy ..... 2. To reduce the incidence of "miscarriage" try to avoid yellow colour in the bedroom. This includes if possible avoid "warm white" lights. Cool day light is rather a preventive choice. 3. Sorry, as to how to calculate the flying star... this is beyond this forum. Especially if you intend to DIY; then go read and dig up as much information the subject.

Applying Flying Star chart to layout plan
In my opinion; these are some considerations: 1. Personally, I always prefer to draw a PIE CHART. 2. Here, I can "imagine" the qi flowing in, better and make a better distinction using each of the cardinal compass points as reference materials. 3. In general; if a space is or could be occupied by two sectors; then often; think of the key: how does qi try to meander into that space. With a pie chart, I always try again to "imagine" which seems to have the highest influence or most likely influence to that space or room.

Getting King Sized bed for my bedroom
Frankly, it is difficult to comment further; 1. As the two compass school analysis are not available: 1.1 The Eight House helps to check which bed-head direction is preferred. 1.2. And whether the "other side" is better or worse without analysing the the Flying Starnumbers and where the actual compass cardinal points are. 2.Thus, trying to answer your questions is like the BLIND; leading the BLIND sort of thing. "Can't say for sure" really. Hi Cecil ,The cupboards are fitted ones on either side of the bed and are higher than the bed. We also have cupboard on top of the bed too (which i did not state before)Will the layout I have attached be better instead of the original one. Last year I had a late miscarriage, and if I am looking to conceive again I want my bed in a better position. Please advise. Many Thanks Monica

Applying for flying star course
Frankly, it is not mandatory for the Applied Feng Shui course, first.

Front Door Versus Bedroom Flying Star Combination
1. In my opinion, your question is still in-complete. 2. For example: the key essence, here should instead be looking into:- 2.1. HEALTH (#2 sickness, #5 misfortune, sickness) 2.2. WEALTH (#3 quarrels, conflicts, lawsuits, #7 lost opportunies "theft" of luck, #5 misfortune etc..) 3. Thus, the most practical approach is to what you said. 4. Of course, if the facing direction has "WEALTH" but if the bedroom has health issues; many people would prefer health, first and foremost. Who don't want wealth. But, without good health how to enjoy wealth peacefully or happilly 5. Instead: I should ask you the question: 5.1. Would you mind good health but not that great in wealth or lots of wealth but health and even fatal health issues? 6. This is truly commonsense or cowsense.

Personal element clash with Business
- Apartment number and year built
1. Frankly, in several of the past messages; the house number analysis is better used in situations for a new development where many of the stacks and units are available. 2. Here, for example within a stack; one can quickly check which level or storey or floor is better. For example stack #08 has most of the units available. For example; stack #9 could be better than say #7 or #10. In such situations. 3. In a "no-choice" or highly limited choice senario of resale homes; even if another unit in the same stack is better; and if no one wants to sell it; not much use, here. 4. In the final situation: Shapes and Forms and things like plotting out the Flying Star chart for that unit is your best bet in such a situation where the apartment level (floor or storey) may not be auspicous.- House gua or life gua
This is one of the many past replies to similar question as yours:- http://forum.geomancy.net/phpforum/article.php?bid=2&fid=1&mid=23898&new= If you use the SEARCH feature and type in " House gua or life gua " there are more specific samples of past replies.- Commonsense and Feng Shui
1. Again; this is another costly "no-brainer". 2. Furthermore, if initally commonsense had prevail; this would not have happened! 3. Let's say, even if one has the highest IQ and education; but could not look into the practical side of things... this ain't no good. 4. This reminds me of the Commonsense reasoning of "non-conductivity" of heat from parquet flooring. This is why many quality homes use parquet flooring for their bedrooms. For example, when we wake up; our feet touches the ground. And if the floor is made of tiles or granite or marble; our feet feels the cold. While steeping on wood (parquet) is another thing all together. Commonsense, commonsense and commonsense prevail.- Flying Star House Number
These are some considerations: 1. Look at it this way: some of us go to another country; but in reality; they only visit locations that tourists visit only. And come to their own PREMATURE conclusion that the entire country must be this or that. 2. Please note that even for Flying Star Feng Shui; although we cannot say that it belongs to kindergarten type of Feng Shui; but some of us don't even realise that there are more to it then meets the eye. 3. For example; no offence; in my opinion; your knowledge is like Primary School Flying Star. 4. Please go do more studies on Flying Star. 5. For example: Flying Star uses the 9 grid. And clearly, you should be an expert on this by now: numbers 1 to 9 rite? 6. If you are really interested in Flying Star; there is such thing as clue: THE 81 COMBINATIONS. 7. Another mathematical clue: 9 x 9 = 81 permutations. 8. Please don't fall into the premature evaluation or non understanding senario. 9. Furthermore, even individual number(s) specifically you mentioned #3 be a good number? Where did this come from? 10. Best not to continue to apply Primary School Flying Star. Flying Star also has the equivalent of Diploma and Degree sort of thing. 11. We had already worked on many versions of the program. Frankly, I strongly believe; what you want out of this is to somehow; magically turn the house number into a good number. This is not the right way to manipulate numbers to make someone happy. If so, just pretend that you had never seen the interpretation.- Flying Star House Number
Further to what I had mentioned; 1. Go take a look at this sample snapshot of a Flying Star chart with the 81 Combinations included for a sector. 2. Even in our modern world: Do you live like a hermit or also need to interact with others? 3. The interaction of 3 and 6:- [3] & [6] - Lawsuit, injury to hands and legs. 3.1. For humans, how to make babies if there is only one person? 3.2. In the above example: a person called Number 3 marries Number 6. 3.3 Please see attachment. You were partially right to say that number #6 is a good number. But you were totally wrong in saying that number #3 is auspicious? How can it be? Strong Wood (3) (Inauspicious Star) represents Lu Cun Xing, Disputes, Quarrels, Conflicts. Strong Metal (6) (Auspicious Star) represents Wu Qu Xing, Luck from Heaven. 3.4 On the same token; so what if number #8 on it's own is auspicious. Again, if number #8 mixes with the wrong company; the result can also be inauspicious like Para 3 above: combined together: [3] & [6] - Lawsuit, injury to hands and legs. 4. Therefore, please avoid premature understanding and come up with the wrong conclusions and asking for re-look or change it to something nice for one to hear. Frankly, if the news is bad, it is bad (full stop.)- An apology to Geomancy.net
Even if one is using the information from streetdirectory.com = Virtual Maps or (VM) For info, even Malsingmaps.com one of my favourite GPS site: had this warning on their forum site:- http://www.malsingmaps.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=37&t=3060 MALSINGMAPS.COM FORUM POSTING: Post subject: WARNING: PLEASE DO NOT POST IMAGES FROM STREETDIRECTORY.COM Posted: Fri Nov 02, 2007 9:59 am Streetdirectory.com is very strict on infringement of their copyrighted materials. Please do not post any images of ther maps for your feedbacks. Thanks.- A special barbecue pit
1a. Type of Housing: Public Housing Estate 1b. Location: Common area in a specific estate in Bukit Batok Street 21 2. Did you see the two barbecue pits? 3. Frankly, this is my very first time seeing a barbeque pit specific for Muslims (as muslims don't eat pork = Malay word = babi ) 4. Perhaps, for some of you; this may be common-place. So far, I have yet to see such a designation or signage specific for this reason. 5. This is for info only .. as I mentioned above.. something rather new to me. Hope this posting does not "trigger" any race riot of sorts! It is really new to me. 6. Is this common especially in Muslim countries; or automatically all barbecue pits in Muslim countries don't allow pork on any barbeque pits.... Indonesia? Malaysia? Arab Countries?- Commonsense and Feng Shui
1. Where one intends to be a Feng Shui wanabi or interested in D.I.Y. (Do-it-yourself) Feng Shui; 2. From my personal experience; 30 to 50 percent of the time many of the Feng Shui concepts have their origins under "commonsense". 3. Under this work-in-progess site; there are many so called Feng Shui concepts that have their origins under simple everyday "commonsense" or "cowsense":- http://wiki.geomancy.net/wiki/Commonsense_Approach 4. Take for example; these photos; which have nothing to do with Feng Shui. 4.1 Any person who uses their commonsense would know that in the first place; why torture the plant by constructing a "perfect" fitting circular planter. 4.2 Even if the person who constructed it perhaps is a worker; how about his supervisor? Did someone think about a maturing tree? 4.3 From the photos; one can see that the brick walls had cracked and new plaster were placed at - at least 4 different sides of the circular planter. 5. Not only is it cruel to the tree to enclose it like that; but in the next few years; many more repairs has to be done! 6. Many more patches or fixes need to be made regularly costing not only time and effort but money. Be it from the sinking fund of the estate or even tax payer's money (since this is a public housing estate in Bukit Batok Street 21!) 6. In Feng Shui also same thing! Morale of the story? "Get it right the first time!"- House sector....Sickness
1. In general, SW facing do face health issues. 2. Below is one of the many examples: http://forum.geomancy.net/phpforum/article.php?bid=2&fid=1&mid=20676&new= 3. Usually, if corrected properly, the effects are not long term. This range from activating metal element eg. a 6 hollow rod wind chime at the frontage and if the back equally has #2 sickness and or #5 and or #9 fire element then wind chime(s) could be used. 4. This depends on the survey and shapes and forms of the exterior of the home and if the South-West sector is the garden; a water postion MAY be activated e.g. reference material: what makes a good water position: http://fountain.geomancy.net Para 2.1 to 2.12 5. Here, the water position if activated properly can help in health as well as wealth. It should be effective up to year 2021 to maximum of 2023 - further survey and analysis is required to check whether such a position may / could be maintained. 6. Please note that the above are general statements; as such postings does not involve on-site review; thus, please don't take what I written in total but rather "as-it-is". Nor, are we sure whether your "new" home is a period 8 or otherwise, also.- Eastpoint Green
Further to what I had mentioned; these are further considerations: 1. As much of the forum message(s) goes back as far as 1999; this was where we hosted our forum on our own servers; previously; in 1996 to 1998 - used a free forum. 2. Do take note that for example; some of the information on Eastpoint Green was based on the critical period where there was a change of Flying Star (qi). 3. Here, Flying Star qi changes every 20 years: 3.1. From 1984 to 2003 (Period 7) and 3.2. From 2004 to 2023 (Period 8) 4. Thus, some of the concerns may or may not be the same. For example, I could remember clearly; on top of my busy schedules; 4.1 I had calls or urgent cases. And "strangely" many of the cases were related to homes that seemingly had or used to having auspicious luck e.g. Double 7 facing directions became or having poor or no luck at all. 4.2 Many of the cases I attended to; especially where Period 7; North facing homes and also NW facing homes. 5. Thus do take note that if one is looking at past forum reviews or messages; do take this time period into consideration i.e. 2001 (three years) before new Period 8 and after.- Eastpoint Green
1. In general, all developments can/may have good, average and not so good units or stacks. This is the same for Eastpoint Green. 2. Thus, "IT DEPENDS!" should be applied when looking at individual units in this (Eastpoint Green) and other developments. 3. Feng Shui is about trying to avoid or fix as many major leaks as possible. And of course, sometimes enhancements. 4. If an apartment say have leaks; but must understand what kind of leaks: MAJOR or MINOR. And how many of them or combinations of them for a home or apartment. 5. Thus, if a home usually or often has the equivalent of 3 or 4 MAJOR leaks or a few minor leaks combined together to form major leaks; then in such situations; the Earth Luck or Feng Shui begins to detoriate and the effect is inauspicious for the breadwinners of the home. 6. Another concept is often: There is few if any such things as a "perfect Feng Shui" home. Even those built from scratch often may have some compromises such as location of toilet(s); kitchen, stove, bedrooms etc. etc...- Eight house excellent but poor flying star chart
You wrote: 1. I would like to ask if the house can still benefit from flying star by using 5 elements to suppress, control and enhance each sectors? Since Flying Star's lowest common denominator is the Five Elements concept: thus, cures or enhancements could/may be applied, here. You wrote: 2. In addition, I just want to clarify if a double 8 facing house in Period 8 only benefits wealth but not good for health? were health is wealth is true and health cannot be bought by money, a house with double facing has an effect of disastrous health issue? Yes, this applies especially for some facing directions where there are two ways of looking at it:- 1. Since double 8's are at some of these flying star facing directions; it could be enhanced 2. For some homes; only the frontage has excellent stars like double 8's but many other sectors (Flying Star) are littered with lots of or combinations of inauspicious stars; thus, refer to para 1. And try to neutralise bad stars in other sectors of the home. If not; as you had mentioned; even if one has double 8's; and other sectors have especially #5 and #2 or combinations of them; could be disastrous for health.- Seasons View Condominium
thanks for your fast response and thank you so much. can i ask why theres a need for advice for SPIRITUAL issue?? any reason? due to its location? or is it its layout or any reason? and why is it on this particular unit of #xx-05 "05"?? please enlighten me master.- An apology to Geomancy.net
Don't worry, no harm done. Thanks for your kind understanding Just that in the past, that of all the website you had extracted the image; that specific website used to be quick on the draw and I understand had used lawyers to sue quite alot of people who simply used their map to guide potiential clients to their location. This is the main reason why, I never like using "streetdirectory.com" map as an educational tool in-case one inadvertently forgot to give them a credit despite such things as "Fair usage" concept.- Seasons View Condominium
Attached is one of the sample layout plans for Blk 7 Tower 2 Seasons View #xx-05. In my opinion; for those who are aware of this forum; I have never ask any users here to do this for many other developments. But, in my opinion; for those who intend to buy a resale unit in this development MAY/ SHOULD / MIGHT want to seriously get some professional help to BE SAFE to check the "cleanliness" of the unit. That's all I have to say. P.S. Cleanliness as related to the "spirtual kind"- Singapore's last few new towns: Sengkang West
Singapore's last few new towns: Sengkang West (used to be Seletar Farmway area). In the 1980's I remembered driving down towards Sembawang: 1980, 1981, 1982 onwards until 1986. I had to drive through a new town at that time called "Yishun New Town". Today, there are not many new towns left in Singapore due to scarcity of land. Thus one of the last two major new towns: Punggol and Sengkang West Way (other than reclaim land); Singapore seems to be running out of such virgin land. These photos taken ofseveral acresof what used to be forests area in Sengkang West (formerly Seletar farmway where pig farms were aplenty during the 1950's to even 1980's. It is a true reminder for me of how Yishun New Town came about. Today, Yishun is considered as a Matured Estate. No longer called "New" Town. With these photos; I hope to capture partks of Sengkang West bordering Punggol before they are built up. I hope these photos will be valuable insights, 30, 50 or even 100 years from now!- What is meant by ' Lift is not a toilet?
Does this only apply to Singapore? Urinating in lifts can bring grief - to the offender! In Singapore, this is a fine of up to $1,000.00 Many Singapore public housing lifts even has this warning etched on the lift wall " URINE DETECTION " or " Camera-Ready" (As the word camera-ready just means it! No camera installed, yet!" Oh! I forgot! SINGAPORE IS ALSO FAMOUSLY KNOWN AS A "FINE CITY". And for tourists coming to Singapore, it is certainly worth buying a "tourist" T-Shirt with such a "name!" Do get such a t-shirt; in Silly Singapore! - Apartment number and year built
