These are some considerations:- 1. From the picture, the awnings are on the side and if the photo was taken directly, the more imposing issue is the triangular roof instead of the smaller awnings x 3.. 2. So long as the awning(s) does not directly face the windows e.g. if it is at the side much like this photo, then, frankly there is no cause for concern - if this is true. 3. I have seen worse "spikes" then the ones shown in your photo. 3.1 And in my opinion, due to the distance from say your home and the awnings and as the awnings are also small in size, I personally feel that they (spikes) don't pose a huge threat to your home. 3.2 Furthermore, if it does not face any of your openings directly.. it is not an issue. 3.3 "If it is not seen (or hardly be seen) - it no longer becomes a threat" e.g. drawing down the "day" curtains for windows is good enough.

You cannot simply use Feng Shui for every excuse! For example; it is lame for a barber to say " after cutting your hair, you will have better Feng Shui". What BULL! (bullshit)... Feng Shui is about Earth Luck. Cutting hair and feeling comfortable or feel good has more to do with one's self - man luck or human luck feel good factors.

Pictures of The Phoo Thor Jee Temple: One thing for sure; in my opinion, this temple has one of the largest amounts of figurines outside the temple or literally "facing and greeting" people before they go into the temple. Furthermore, it has a pair of majestic smiling Qi Lin on both sides of the gate. And another pair of Big, strong Lion figurines, on the other side of another gate.

Can you really visualise the beautiful smile from this Amara Singapore, Hotel, Lion?

Again, if one looks carefully, this version is similar to the Tan Family type of smiling face Lion figurines

In my opinion, the first thing that came into my mind is the "sharing of knowlege" or "learning". It is also about "growth". Growth can be a good or bad thing! For example: growth of good knowledge and knowledge that can be searched, viewed etc... Certain other "growth" e.g. child porno etc... Thus, I would generally consider the Internet industry as belonging to the "wood" element. Graphically, it is much like the roots of a plant or the structure of the brain... that sort of thing. Logically, if it is a "new" as in brand new home; there is no issue with construction be it good or bad sectors. More pictures of the two beautiful smiling Qi Lin's outside the gate of this magnificent Thian Hock Keng Temple at Telok Ayer Street. Again, even the temples places symbolic smiing animals guarding it. Not those fierce looking ones. The qi lin on the right side always have the largest smile

Further to what I had mentioned about the Qilin On House Lamp Post Location: The Tan family resident (next door to) the new development that had just TOP: Jewel @ Chuan Hoe The above Tan family residence uses a similar pair of Qi Lin (Chi lin) of the Thian Hock Keng Temple located at Telok Ayer Street. Notice the Qi Lin's smile? The one that always have the largest smile is on the right side (when standing facing the qi lins).

1. The Ying Fo Fui Kun is one of Singapore oldest clan associations, located in Telok Ayer Street. 2. Even if one wants to place Qi Lin's on a property or even outside the property; 3. The Qi Lin(s) must either be full bodied "prosperous looking" or have a "charming smile." Not those fearless or fierce looking ones. 4. This Ying Fo Fui Kun has FOUR: Yes! FOUR QI LINS outside the property! There are TWO adult qi lins and two smaller baby cub qi lin closer to the inner pillars. 5. Both the adult Qi lin's and cub qi lin's each have a "pearl ribbon" wrapped over their neck. Here, fire controls "metal". 6. The qi lin that has the widest smile is the smaller baby one (on the right side) where, I had taken the most photos. 7. The photos are non-3d, so does not do justice to the "smile" of the baby cub qi lin. But go look at it from various angles.. it looks playful and has a huge generous smile! This implies harmony for both the "dwelling" and passerby! 8. The original building in the 1822's was not adorned with these qi lins as can be seen in one of the plagues on the wall.

Erh.. How do I climb down into the pool. Or how do I climb up the pool? This is not a Magician trick... Just that the developer placed an extensive guard rail to prevent anyone climbing down or pushed down the steps into the Hillvista condo pool. Thus, don't worry it is not an illusion! When this condo TOP; for sure, the barrier will be lifted. Please don't quote me on this! If you don't believe; when I next visit this condo during TOP; will show you a photo proof of it! Cheers!

Condo: Hillvista Started building around 3 years ago. Expected TOP is around October 2010 or thereabouts. Consists of a row of three "blocks" fused together into one single block. With units or stacks either facing Flying Star North 3 or South 3 direction. Under this current Feng Shui qi; facing South 3 or S3 is preferred over N3. The siteplan or sitemap's NORTH compass direction does NOT MATCH it's individual layout plan's NORTH compass marking. In the siteplan; the NORTH seems to be at Flying Star N1 or S1. While under it's individual layout plan NORTH marking; the compass reading is either N3 or S3. So far, I can recall that there were few mistakes made especially on the siteplan. And in my lifetime; I can recall only 2 or 3 other cases where the siteplan NORTH marking is "off" or incorrect.
