  1. Today:- Raymond Xavier (Devil's Advocate): "Young man, what is your reason for a request to transfer to Heaven?" Young man: "I searched the web, and found that I am a weak water person. You know, so much fire in hell, is detrimental to my being a weak water person. Is this reason good enough, Sir?" Raymond Xavier : "Good reason! Transfer him to Heaven! NEXT, please!"
  2. A conversation between Angels (GOD) and persons arriving at the Heavenly gate:- Angel: "Mr Raymond Xavier, I understand that you are a weak Fire person?" Raymond Xavier: " Yes, indeed! I did an internet search and found that I am a weak Fire person!" Raymond Xavier: "What you have planned for me?" Angel: "Please hold on.. I am arranging for your next trip!" Raymond Xavier: "Wow! A holiday?" Angel: "Something like that!" Angel: "Since you are a weak Fire person, I have permanently, found the most suitable place for you to live: IN HELL! Why? Lots of FIRE! You need FIRE! Thats FINAL!" The last we heard... Raymond Xavier is seating comfortably next to the DEVIL! in HELL!
  3. 1. In this layout, there are many ways of placing the bed. 2. But following the user's question, this attachment is merely an illustration showing that if ONE REALLY needs to place a bed (or bed-head) sharing the same wall as a Toilet-bowl (WC) then this method is a "better" choice then sleeping with body parallel to the toilet-bowl wall.
  4. 1. The Five Elements Concept:- Under the Productive sequence of theFive Elements concept, if a person is a weak earth person, then, his best elements (or also colours) are:- Fire (Red, pink or purple) Earth (Yellow, cream or beige). The idea, here is that if a person is weak, we try to nurture or bring that person to "better health". Thus if one is weak earth, fire for example burns e.g. say wood and this turn into ashes (a kind of earth). While adding earth is like adding earth to earth. 2. Under the productive cycle of the Five elements concept, it is always considered more productive for this weak earth person to "utilise" Fire (first). While adding "earth" to earth is acceptable, it comes second to Fire element. 3. Thus, it is not wrong for you to conclude that perhaps, earth careers or earth colours are considered favourable to that person. 4. The Flying Star Feng Shui 4.1 The common denominator of the Flying Star and the use of the five elements in ba zi is the Five Elements concept. 4.2 Under the Flying Star Feng Shui, #5 and #2, yes is considered as the earth element. While #5 = big or strong earth. And #2 weak earth. 4.3 Many Feng Shui practitioners recommend to their clients to avoid BRIGHT YELLOW colours in a bedroom that has #5. And in some bedrooms that have a combination of #5 with #2 and or #9; the advise is to avoid both Bright Yellow and Bright RED (#9 fire fuels #5). If the advise is not followed, constant sickness may arise. 4.4 Under Para 4.3, even if you are a "weak earth " person, and since your best colours are: Yellow and Red, it does not mean that being a weak earth person, you should discount the advice under Para 4.3! #5 and #2 has no distinction between a weak earth person or a person with other elements e.g. weak water, strong earth etc...
  5. This is another sample illustration. (See attachment) The illustration shows that it is considered inauspicious to place the bed parallel to the wall with the Toilet-bowl.
  6. This illustration shows that it is very inauspicious to sleep NEXT to wall that has a toilet-bowl directly opposite the bed / close to our "head" position i.e. may have higher probability of contracting cancer.
  7. 1. In Germany, many years back, there was a study of incidence of cancer in villages. 2. As all the homes are "landed properties", it was found that whenever asewerage pipe happens to run below(or underneath) a bed, the person sleeping on that bed has a higher incidence of cancer. 3. More importantly if one sleeps "side-ways" with the bed next todirectly opposite wall with the WC,the concern is the WC pipe. Sharing a wall with theWC pipe may bring us with the same concern of the sewerage pipe, being too close to our "body". Thus the concern ofdeveloping cancer. John T. wrote: I have read that is bad to have a toilet behind your bedhead. For my case, i have no choice but to position it this way. Need advice, pls help, thanks.
  8. 1. The image also depicts a tree (tree trunk) positioned in front of the house. However, it is important to note that the tree does not present any danger to the home. Please refer to the attached file for more details.
  9. 1. The test to see if the tree is a threat or not is: " To stand inside the main door of the home" and look outwards (directly). If there is say a tree trunk facing the main door, it implies that this tree trunk is like a "knife" slicing thru or towards the main door. 2. In Feng Shui, this is considered as an external threat. Sometimes if the tree or evenobjects like a lamp post does not directly slice the main door, then stand inside the home look out of say any other openings such a window. A tree trunk that slices towards the window is equally a threat. 3. The main door is symbolic of the "mouth of the house". And a simple object like a tree trunk "slicing" thru is a threat and may cause issues. 4. Please see attachment illustration. 5. Usually to cause problems or issues within a home, there are often more than just this "leak" mentioned under Para 3 and 4. (The leak refers to wealth and/or health issues etc...) Anonymous wrote: Dear Master Lee, I am just new with Feng Shui and do not know much except that a friend told me that a tree in front of our house is bad. I do not know what this "bad" means except that for the past several years, we are financially down and no matter what we do, it seems like we are not getting anywhere. This year, we could see and feel like opportunities are just all around us but it does not seem to get through to us in spite of all our efforts. Someone told me to put a mirror in front of our window facing the tree. I did just that but I do not know if it is the right thing to do. Please help and enlighten me as I do not know what else to do. Thanks a lot.
  10. Sorry without a simple sketch, I really cannot figure nor comment further. As the earlier description is totally unclear.

  12. 1. Frankly, unfortunately these are : typically Bullsit! 2. These are modern invention(s). Out to capture or trick us into departing with our hard -earned money! 3. Please ask the Feng Shui master selling it to give a guarantee that after buying it... whatever is stated comes true! 4. In fact, these "masters" becomes so cheap to ever dream of "cheating many" with such claims! These are the lowest class people, ever! These people always think of a fairy tale story to entice us to buy them. 5. Such commercial products only line up the sellers pocket at very high mark-ups! "Manufactured cheaply.. but sold as a bomb". Better save your hard earned money or even use it for better purpose i.e. charity begins at home.. use the money on your children or family... much better. Then handing to these crooks!. 6. In the past, there are no such products! Only the gullible get conned into buying such products! Hahahahha!!! Anonymous wrote: Hi, I'm new to this forum. I'm quite interested in TibetanBeads. There are many Feng Shui masters selling TibetanBead for the use of Feng Shui. I was approached by one. Can someone give me a good advice? Thanks, Dang
  13. 1. For the Chinese (we believe) in three kinds of luck:- Heaven luck - what we are suppose to be born with Earth luck - Feng Shui of home and/office Human or man luck - Family relationship, bonding ... 2. What you mention has more to do with Numerology. Frankly, there are at least more than 10 or more different ways humans calculate what is auspicious or inauspicious. The Chinese have various methods, other races also have different methods of calcuating. Thus, some may feel that 168 is good, some may feel that is a rotten or bad number. 3. Therefore, what I feel is that a number can mean so different thing or responses from many parties to invalidate one method from the other. It is like some people feel very lucky with no. 13 while some avoid it like the plague. Some Singaporeans even love double "44's". Years back a neighour had car plate SK 44 and house number with 44 in it. So how do we consider 168 lucky or unlucky? Some even add 1 + 6 + 8 etc...
  14. 1. In my opinion, the process of burial (burial place) and subsequently the procedure between this and before "forced" cremation can affect one's luck. 2. For example, the removal of remains e.g. excavation has to be done properly. Very simple situations include, putting up a tent above the burial site, just before excavation, plus, other rituals are significant. 3. Thus any process done up-to that stage and cremation should be properly done. 4. However, once the cremation has been completed, collection of the urn, arranging for the new site could also do with some "proper procedure". 5. Usually, once cremated, it is less crucial to find the best site since the urn would be housed in a "complex". And once cremated, it is considered 'neutral' site i.e. the site housing your deceased mum is less important, then say a good burial site (non-cremation stage). Quote: Anonymous wrote: Dear Master Lee, Years ago, I had a thriving business. During that time, I decided to remove my mother's burial remains and transfer her to a memorial place in the city where I am staying. I did not consult any Feng Shui on that move. Now, I do not have any business and financially burdened. Does that have anything to do with my luck? If so, what must I do? Thank you so much.
  15. 1. The three figurines are very popular locally in Singapore, Malaysia i.e. in the Far East. 2. The proper Mandarin Pin Yin names are: Fu Lu Shou 3. Please do a Search in this website or on google to find out more of the three gods. 4. Note: Your placement is not correct. The proper traditional placement is as shown in the attachment. 5. In Chinese books, the pages are read from RIGHT to LEFT. Thus the images: Fu Lu Shou is as shown in the attachment. Nowadays, some Singaporeans, place it from "Left" to "Right". Frankly, this is not proper. 6. Frankly, the ones you have is not the best quality. In Singapore, many of them are considered antiques and the quality and workmanship are finer. Further, the three pieces have varied themes such as Fu and Lu carrying babies. This set is more "family " oriented. While locally many are more collected with "wealth as in $$$" instead of purely family orientation.
  16. 1. Honestly, if one truly applies proper Feng Shui, it is difficult to firstly comment on such a Yes/No question. 2. Proper Feng Shui is about looking at the site (site review). And selection of facing direction, and others including the drainage positions etc... Quote: Anonymous wrote: our lot is located in front of an upward road we areconstructing a house and we plan to put a gate on the other side hidden from the road, will this help? please advise on how to deal with key lots thank you.
  17. 1. Thanks for the re-upload of layout plan. 2. For practical purposes in applying a template onto your home layout out plan, please see attachment. The rationale for the centrepoint as shown in the attachment is that the home is nto particularly huge to warrant drawing two separate rectangles and later to use the template for Flying star and eight house purpose. 3. The best way to look at it is to consider the outline of the 2nd storey layout plan to determine the centrepoint of the home. Since this layout plan has less indentations and protrusions. 4. In your sketch, I believe the ground floor and 2nd storey should have the same outline. As in your sketch, the 2nd storey profile is slightly different size / proportion than the ground floor. Thus whichever it is, make sure that the sketch are exactly proportionate to further fine tune the centrepoint of the home. In addition, the ground floor garage, in your specific case becomes a 'neutral' area since it is not a missing corner as it is actually boxed up with walls ... P.S. As mentioned above, because your home is not big, it may not be practical to draw two rectangles. And then analyse each of the two rectangles. It can still be done - but not advisable, here.
  18. 1. Usually, changing the angle of the front door is only "temporary". This is because, the entire building "frontage" is fixed. And often, tilting the door may not bring significant results. As ultimately the "frontage" or actual facing direction of the home remains the same. 2. If Flying Star Feng Shui has been applied, usually a Feng Shui practitioner will try to advise on ways to "disarm" especially "loss of wealth stars" such as #5 (misfortune, sickness) and #3 (Lawsuits, quarrels, conflicts, scandals). 3. If there are further opportunities, one may consider placing a water position in the home to tap good wealth or activate a mountain position. SANDHAYA M. wrote: MY HOUSE FACES SE WHICH A BAD DIRECTION FOR US,BRINGING IN BANKRUPTCY & FINANCIAL DISASTER. WILL ANGLING THE FRONT DOOR TO FACE PERHAPS SW HELP THE SITUATION TO BETTER?
  19. 1. There are two concepts under Feng Shui: 1.1 Symbolism and 1.2 Flow of qi. 2. Symbolism in Feng Shui The main door is considered as the mouth of the house. (An important "organ". And from the main door, if one sees the staircase, it symbolises "wealth flowing down from the staircase". Some homes have a drainage pipe and when we open the door (to look out) one should not immediately see such things. 3. Flow of qi Main door facing the staircase, may inadvertently "disturb" the proper flow of qi. 4. Thus, often, the most common method is to install a partition (or display wall) such that the staircase is not seen from the main door. (Sorry based on your description, cannot really understand the real picture). 5. Closing the main door - it depends! For example, if the main door has the auspicious say double #8's. Then it is always good to have qi circulating from the main door into the home. As this qi is considered as "good qi". Anonymous wrote: Hello, when we bought the apartment the staircase was also included thus we placed the maindoor on the third step of the stairs to gain space. Is this very bad for the fengshui and is there anyway to neutralise this effect? The staircase is made of two U shaped ( we are on 2 levels) very well lit cos there is a big window. I've read that window facing maindoor is bad for chi so I keep it closed all the time. Please advise. Grace
  20. 1. It refers usually to already stayed-in the home. Alternatively, during the renovation period, some move-out for the duration Or if it is a brand new home, complete ALL the renovations especially at the specified locations, first. 2. Once moved-in, don't do any more works at the locations. This is good enough. Quote: Katrina L. wrote: What if I plan to build a house next year and I want to have it finished within 6 months? Does that mean that I cannot do any construction on the north side of the house and I cannot also do construction on the north-north-east side of the house 30 degrees? In that case then, I cannot have the house finished in 6 months? What do you suggest?
  21. You can always use the free auspicious dates for the next 30 days report at http://dates.geomancy.net
  22. Most of us renovate or plan renovations either in the same year or the next year. You can go to our 2009 Forecast link at our main website: http://www.geomancy.net (2009) Take note the following sectors:- Sickness Star this year is at West Misfortune/Sickness Star this year is at North Disputes/Quarrel Star this year is at North-East Education/Romance Star this year is at South Grand Duke this year is North-North-East, 30 Degree. - Avoid sitting facing the grand duke or disturbing him by having renovations. Location in Conflict is East. - Avoid having renovations done opposite the location in conflict.
  23. 1. In general, traditionally the Chinese 7th month (especially) certain days is considered auspicious. Nowadays, just because the Chinese 7th "Ghost" month happens to be in the 7th month, many thus construe that it is not an auspicious period. 2. For other races e.g. Indians, they have their own "7th month" which is not in the Chinese 7th month. 3. Overall, we read about many, many Chinese in China getting married on this "auspicious sounding" date. Thus many seem to think it is a good date
  24. Alternatively, this info can also be found in our wiki: wiki.geomancy.net:- http://www.geomancy.net/wiki/Master_Bedroom:_Which_side_must_I_sleep_on#Eight_House_Concept_and_my_best_sleeping_position
  25. 1. Usually, having a home next to a retirement home to many is more of a "human or man - factors" then Feng Shui. 2. General, having a home next to a retirement home is near equivalent of a home next to say a temple or a fire station - of that nature. 3. While the garbage dump, (now golf hill) has more concern with how long it was there and any water e.g. a well etc.. will not be suitable. If one uses tap water running from the municipal, this is not a concern. 4. In your case, a very high weightage goes into the "human or man luck factor". Here, I assume that you and your family don't seem to feel very good staying in this home. Human or man luck plays a very high factor in our lifes. If we always don't seem to feel good in a place (even if is one or two reasons), then in my opinion, a valid reason to move. Especially since the external factors (outside) of your home is no good feel factor.
