HDB Keat Hong Verge @ Choa Chu Kang BTO launched in November 2020 - Period 8 Feng Shui + a Fork in the Road can affect health and wealth luck? Which units are lucky today?
Case Study 1: Scanning the external immediate environment for a temple (if any)? 1. There is indeed a site reserved for a Chinese temple. 1.1. However, the temple is closest to Block 22 Sol Acres EC. 2. Unfortunately, what matters is that although it is across the road from HDB Keat Hong Verge, stacks 302 and 304 directly faces the frontage of this future temple. 3. As for stack 306 the living room cum bedrooms 2 and 3 certainly also directly faces the temple grounds. 4. Stacks 308 and 301 does not directly face the temple. But if the residents were to turn their heads to the left, they will certainly also see such a temple. 5. Most likely also that there is often a large burner for devotees to burn offerings and incense and often, it can be located either at marking X or Y. Photo: Cheng Hwa Cher Siah Temple at Bankit Road, Bukit Panjang: Did you notice the offerings burning cauldron circled in red to the bottom right hand-side of this photo? 5.1. Below: an intricate incense burner from the famous Thian Hock Keng temple at No. 158 Telok Ayer Street:- 5.2. For most other temples, they have a pagoda like themed offerings burner that takes in offerings for offering "gold ingots etc..." Samples of offerings can be found, under this link:- 6. And one cannot control or restrict such burnings. Equally, hopefully the wind does not blow the smoke and smells that come with such burnings towards blocks and stacks at HDB Keat Hong Verge especially the lower floors. 7. Unfortunately frequent inhaling of such fumes can be cancerous in the long term. 8. Modern temples like the Thye Hua Kwan temple could be quite similar to the one shown below:- 9. If the future temple, here is similar to this temple, expect to get at least a unit that is higher than 8 to 10 storeys high to clear it's roof-line! As often the roof-line can also be another poison arrow if it is aimed towards a unit's opening.

HDB Kebun Baru Edge @ Ang Mo Kio BTO launched in November 2020 - Which units are lucky?
Case Study 4: What are the tell-tale signs that most likely an "old-bird" had planned this estate? (Or alternatively an understudy of an old-bird) "Don't get me wrong! This term "old-bird" translated in Hokkien is "Lau Chiao" is instead a compliment on the planning of HDB Kebun Edge." 1. Most evidently the clues are that the Precinct Pavilion (PP) and the Electrical Sub-Station ESS are always tucked at a corner of the estate. 2. And consideration is to park these two at a corner closest to the roads / road junction. 3. No stacks are at the L-junction of Ang Mo Kio St 21. As one can see that it is one of the service roads leading into the estate thus greated by the Drop of Point (DOP). 4. As many as Nine (9) stacks are either True North cardinal or True South facing stacks. With the rest of the other Eight (8) stacks that are not North or South facing. 5. The only two things that are not as perfect are the way, the common bins are located as per my earlier comments under Case study 3 (above). 6. In addition, not that great to see the emergency exit in relation to stack 129. Some would feel that this is still acceptable. Agree with slight hesitation, that's all. At least none of the unit's main door faces it - matters already!

HDB Kebun Baru Edge @ Ang Mo Kio BTO launched in November 2020 - Which units are lucky?
Case Study 3: Stacks 101 and 117 has poor Shapes and Forms Feng Shui having each of them sharing the same wall as the twin common bins:- 1. Today, I visited HDB Clementi Crest and saw a unit with exactly the same identical layout plan. 2. Hopefully one does not meet inconsiderate neighbours and or if the common bin area is not well cleaned. 2.1. And pray hard that there are no durian lovers or that durians suddenly become available all year round. Else, if some neighbours do leave the durian husks at the common bin lobby, hope not that units like that from stack 117 or for that matter 119 may end up always smelling like stale durian perfume smell. 2.2. As mentioned above, even stack 119 can be affected if the winds decide to become active and bring it to this stack also. 3. It is more clear cut for stack 101 as it alone is affected in it's block:- 4. The other day, I went to a HDB unit at Bukit Batok West. And while walking around, found that my client had used masking tape to seal her older generation flat's internal rubbish bin. 5. She automatically said: "Did not want cockroaches to come out of the bin!" Common bins are often an attraction to cockroaches and even ants. And these ants can easily march into units like 101 or 117. Have you heard of this? Resident of Block 246B stack #06-117 = R06-117 (went to her MP's meet the people session) RO6-117: "Minister why is our town council always increasing our conservancy charges? Already increased close to $60/- just a year ago. And now, yet again another $36/- by this December." Minister cum MP: "Who ask you to vote for us. Once vote for us, we have the right to increase and increase everything." ROG-117: "Okay, I am to blame as I voted for you". Minister cum MP: "Know what? Additional blame is again on you!" ROG-117: "Why, Sir?" Minister cum MP: "You lah! Complain Queen! Always complain the the common bin lobby not clean! You always blame that your unit always kena lots of ants and cockroaches, lah!" ROG-117: "Oh dear! Sorry Sir! No choice, lah...!" Minister cum MP: "I have a great suggestion for you! If you don't like it, MOVE-OUT!"

HDB Kebun Baru Edge @ Ang Mo Kio BTO launched in November 2020 - Which units are lucky?
Case Study 2: Stack 135 is a "double edge sword" 1. It is pretty sad to see that even from the living room, one can still see into the yard area of stack 111. It is more visible especially if one looks out from Master Bedroom and Bedroom 2. 2. Especially after clearing the height of the MSCP, a unit that is most likely at least 6th storeys (on the safe side) has an unobstructed views till as far as neighbouring Block 260B. 3. Stack 135 also is affected by the afternoon sun (on a sunny day) at an angle all year round. 4. If the wall as shaded in red is painted in light colours, especially during the afternoon, these walls can be glaring whenever one looks out of any of stack 135 windows.

HDB Kebun Baru Edge @ Ang Mo Kio BTO launched in November 2020 - Which units are lucky?
Case Study 1: Potential Poison arrows and stacks #133 and #135 On stack #133: 1. There is a potential sharp corner from the edge of the MSCP from levels 1 to 4 since it is 4 storeys high. 1.1. It is best to do a survey on or after key collection to determine where this sharp corner is pointing towards stack #133? 1.2. If the sharp corner is pointed towards a wall of #133, there is no issue. If the sharp corner is pointed into the living room windows, harder to cure as no way one can always draw the curtains or blinds down everyday. 1.3. It can still be okay if this is pointed towards a bedroom window. Not perfect but can be remedied. On stack #135: 2. For stack #135, there is a possibility of poison arrow or arrows from stack #111. Again, see where the poison arrow (s) is/are pointed towards.

HDB Dakota One @ Geylang BTO launched in August 2020 - Which units are lucky?
Case Study 2: Temporary COVID-19 related facilities may be set up near residential areas 1. The former 1 SIR Camp buildings at Guillemard Road is unsafe for occupation. 2. Thus if one were to pass-by this former camp, today, one can see a glimse of white tentages similar as those featured in the news at Tanjong Pagar. The tents are currently suppose to house persons or activities associated with COVID-19. 3. Not that the virus can float or travel 800 metres towards Dakota One site. 4. Anyway, by key collection, not sure what will happen at this former camp grounds. 5. If one were to look at the map around Balestier / Thomson. The Tan Tock Seng Hospital Infectious Disease Department is surrounded by so many buildings and even private apartments. 6. Based on common sense, if the former camp grounds is used as a housing facility; take extra precaution when taking the bus or visit facilities if the migrant workers are able to mingle with the public within the near-vicinity.

Thomson 800 Flying Star Compass Degrees
These are some considerations: 1. Mount Alvernia Hospital (MAH) is a private hospital thus does not have or required to have a mogue or a pathology department to investigate dead bodies brought in by the police for both natural and unnatural death. 2. I don't want to indicate the exact area. (See above) But somewhere around marking X above, there is a room where, if so happen that a patient at the hospital has died. 2.1. The hospital staff would bring the deceased (body) to this waiting area. And when the relative had arranged for the pick-up of the body; witness their loved one is the correct person and the casket company personnel would take over. 3. As you can see this hospital "facility" is closer to Block 808. For Block 802, true that stacks/units facing MAH does look towards the hospital directly. 4. From a Feng Shui point of view, most concern would be where is the pathology department as mentioned under Para 2. The rest of the hospital areas are not that critical. 5. Unfortunately, STIGMA is something which is hard to get rid-off! 6. Even if one were told that it is okay no issue. 7. But if someone has already made-up their mind or kind of half-hearted; thus for example, in a resale of the unit; if you and or your family members share this same concern; others may also equally share it. 8. Also under the Holy Trinity of Chinese Luck System: 8.1. Heaven Luck = born with via Ba Zi [33.33%] 8.2. Earth Luck = Feng Shui [33.33%] 8.3. Human or Man Luck = feel good or well maybe not that great [33.33%] 9. Thus even if the Feng Shui of such a house is good or at least average. It can even be make worse-off if the buyer frequently feel unease over this. If so, if one's Human or Man Luck is DOWN, it will certainly pull down the entire luck of that person. 10. If in doubt please don't consider. Unless one has other ulterior motives like - "it is most affordable due to this concern". Then, cannot say - up to the individuals to weigh what I had mentioned, above. 11. Although SGH is a privatized hospital, however, through tradition, it has an infamous Block 9 = Mortuary where unnatural deaths e,g suicides etc.. are investigated, here:- 11.1. Fortunately, for SGH there are no near-by homes within the vicinity of this Block 9 Mortuary. 11.2. In addition, understand that SGH will be relocating this facility to another near-by location within the hospital grounds. Reference:-

HDB Dakota One @ Geylang BTO launched in August 2020 - Which units are lucky?
Case Study 1: External surroundings of HDB Dakota One 1. Previously I had a client who was eyeing a unit at Cassia View. And briefly visited the Mountbatten cc. 2. Seems like the current Mountbatten cc is now part of HDB Dakota One. And a new 4 storey Mountbatten Community Club (MCC) is to the SW of this development. 3. As such, the planners of this estate did a good job to buffer HDB Dakota One from the popular Block 51 Old Airport Road Food Centre and Shopping Mall. 3.1. More so, as the current open air temporary carpark beside this new MCC will later be redeveloped into a future High-rise residential development. Thus at least it acts as a buffer between this high rise and Block 88A. Which otherwise may be located near to Cassia Link and Jalan Dua road junction. 4. Oh Dear! Visitors including me will no longer have the luxury of easy parking at the open air temporary car-park. And perhaps have to find a near-by MSCP carpark - given that there are very limited parking lots along Old Airport Road side. 5. Another benefit of having the MCC as a buffer is avoiding food preparation smell as well as noise often up to before 9.55pm coming from the Food Centre. 6. In addition, since last year 2019, I have seen construction works as shown by a red "X" on the former 1 Singapore Infantry Regiment (1 SIR) obstacle course field / ammo dump). 6.1. It is a rather odd shaped building structure. I did not have the opportunity to see the development signage placed outside the site (along Old Airport Road). 6.2. Anyway, this should not be an issue or consideration unless perhaps a religious building or hospital.

Door facing each other... Good or Bad? Is there a cure for this?
For practical reasons if doors are opened most of the time, an alternative is to place a red dot above the door: Sometimes one may even see a reflective mirror and a red dot as shown above.. Much like the flag from the "land of the rising sun"...

Display Toy Gun
For confidentiality, I won't mention where you are located. Singapore users in this forum will know that you are not from, here. Erh? Why? In Singapore, it is illegal to own a replica gun. Can be thrown into jail and the keys of the cell thrown away.. LOL

Clementi Central 448 market Boon Kee wanton and soy sauce chicken noodles
My favourite Boon Kee noodles closed on a Sunday. No choice, wanted to have comfort food. To me , this stall is so-so. The only thing outstanding is their fatty charcoal roasted char siew meat + chilli sauce. Unfortunately, the chilli sauce is mild. And very little. Their Cantonese style noodles are not as firm. This is because when it becomes cold, it sticks or soggy like. Although they provide self-optional helpings of fried pork lard. These are really not fresh and has a strong smell. To be fair, one can always skip this. Their wanton skin is thick. But to be fair, their wantons have pieces of prawns and flavourful. I will only eat at this stall as a last resort. In the past, also on a Sunday, before the above wanton stall had opened, tried this fish ball noodle stall:- I really did not like it at all. Have been keeping a distance from it. To me, this has to be one of the worst Fishball minced meat noodle stall ever.

For my new home: Is it ok in feng shui perspective if we decide to buy 2nd hand bed frame, chairs & electric appliances?
Is it ok in feng shui perspective if we decide to buy 2nd hand bed frame, chairs & electric appliances? This is not Feng Shui. More to individual considerations... for such things do check with parents for their opinion P.S. In the past many homes have a matriarch have the final say.

HDB Dakota One @ Geylang BTO launched in August 2020 - Which units are lucky?
Have started to review some of the other August 2020 releases. Have yet to look at this site. Ok, this is really not Feng Shui. Several years ago, I had a client who had purchased a new = a condo unit. They told me that they have difficulty moving (selling) their existing HDB home at Pine Close: ”Good location as it is within the fringe of the city. But was told few Enquiries + potential HDB buyers seems to find the area’s price costly. LOL” (Need deep pockets.. not for young buyers - thus smaller market size for homes in such a location especially if the unit is four or five bedders type.)

Display Toy Gun
As mentioned, previously. This has nothing to do at all with Feng Shui. If your wife or yourself finds it uncomfortable with a real gun like thing in a specific place in a room. Then why give yourself "the agony" of carrying on such a baggage?
