  3. @ Greenwich V in Seletar Apologies, the tablet associated with the figurines positioned here in 2012 has deteriorated; only a handful of indistinct words remain legible. Remembering Seletar The sound of nature Memories This collection of sculptures celebrates the rich heritage and unique culture of Seletar. Built in 1928, the RAF Seletar is the first international airport of Singapore. From the rubber estates of yesteryear lining Yio Chu Kang Road and Jalan Kayu to the sights, sounds and smell of tweeting birds..
  4. Low crime does not mean NO crime. In Katong.. we experience high crime.. literally at our doorsteps... Quite scary that I live within this cluster of red "X"es. Where the red "X"es were the approximate locations that these "Housebreaking" signs were placed quite recently. Note: This area is entitled "landed-property" cum private apartments zone. Under Marine Parade
  5. Dim Sum Facts Dim Sum originated with the Cantonese in Southern China. While it started as a snack, it has now become a stable of Chinese dining culture. It is treated as a meal where friends and families gather together to have a relaxing and happy dining experience. The serving sizes of dim sum are small and often come in 3 and 4 pieces. Because of the small serving sizes, one can try a huge variety of food. Eating dim sum ar a restaurant is usually known in Cantonese as going To "drink Tea" (yum Cha), as tea is typically served with dim sum. Traditionally dim sum includes various types of steam buns such as char siew Bao, chicken Bao and other delights such as Siew Mai and Cheong fun
  6. Cat burglary = House breaking in Marine Parade zone Signage placed a few days ago.
  7. The house you live-in is not an asset.. it is a liability
  8. Thus if these floor carpets are laid as shown below, can see that it is instead a "smooth" flow.. Don't you think that this has more to do with common sense?
  9. Shows signs of wear and tear. Worse if it soft and tender feet may be "scratched" against such "zebra crossing" laid panels. Same for blocks of parquet tiles if they are laid in the same manner.
  10. Parquet flooring in a home should be laid similar to this arrangement:- Avoid laying parquet flooring similar to this "zebra crossing" method:- This is because if the parquet flooring is worn down; such a pattern may cause splinters ..
  11. This bicycle rack design @ Bellewaters Sengkang. Perhaps, the security personnel at this development is the deterrent. Given that only the two support poles are thick. While the stretch of frame looks so thin and flimsy.. I believe a medium sized bolt cutter or a saw could easily breach these wires within seconds to just a few minutes... Nevertheless, it could park five (5) bicycles easily.. Luckily, it is so bulky; as this whole frame is secured to the concrete floor by only four exposed nuts. Contrast this to the Boon Keng (one article earlier) version.. worlds apart.
  12. Give this area another 5 to 6 years and I believe, many will settle and even feel comfortable to the locale.
  13. This is a classic case of Sha Qi or poison arrow of the pointed roof aimed towards "This Unit's" living room. If it is aimed towards another opening like a bedroom window. Usually, having a day curtain drawn 24/7 can help. If it is aimed towards a balcony: either draw the external blind be it a ziptrack or like in the photo the louvres. But this is a double edged sword that can block this unit's qi flow into the unit and affect it's luck. Some geomancers may even recommend a wind chime. But the poison arrow is so low. And if say a wind chime is hang high-up.. what is the use of it even being there? FULL-STOP
  14. Note: This is a rough altered illustration. Showing that the two blocks could have been mirrored with the pool within the inner core. And for tower 10, majority of the lower storeys would have been shielded by afternoon sun. Thanks to the position of Block 8. Thus only 4 stacks will get direct/indirect afternoon sun as compared to the present siteplan layout.
  15. Martin Modern by Guocoland What a pity stacks/units that have pool view also affected by afternoon sun. Especially Tower 8 with the larger units stacks #01, #02 and #03. For Tower 10, stack #12 is the most affected by afternoon sun. Including stack #11. While stacks #13, #14 and #15 also have indirect afternoon sun all year round. It is a pity that the developer should have mirrored the two blocks on this plot of land.
  16. >Assume if the structure is not an issue, from feng shui perspective, >can I interpret the above as still a no no to stay ? There is no >remedy at all ? Please re-read what I wrote.
  17. These are some considerations:- 1. Under Symbolism in Feng Shui, the I-Ching says that water above one is inauspicious. And represents "difficulty" or problems". In this sense, it is "linked to good or bad Feng Shui". 2. Pure Common sense. 2.1. If or should the structure of the support above the unit is not up to structural strength.. then... just imagine... 2.2. More likely, if there are issues, it could most likely be cracks at the support columns and if the roof is not properly waterproofed.. water has a way of seeking cracks. And one may start to see water seeping downwards. 3. This is unrelated: But in the past a Shopping complex in Korea had it's cooling towers moved and this lead to the weakening of the support pillars. >If the water tank is directly above our unit, it is consider as bad feng shui ? If yes what is the remedy ? What do you think?
  18. This is a simple decision tree matrix for purchase of a new or re-sale flat for stay. If the purchase is for investment, then no need to consider this at all. Since Feng Shui is about earth luck or the place one is currently staying-at. Please note that this is year 2017. And 2022 onwards is like 5 years away. As at now, this simple matrix applies. But as it draws closer and closer to Period 9, this matrix is no longer in use. Since by Period 9, we no longer need to consider the luck of a home under Period 8. By then it will strictly be how good or bad the home is under Period 9. Thus for someone reading this on or after 2022.. please don't quote me.. Use common sense.. this chart expires or nearly expires then. What happens? It will become invalid. No more valid...lah! BLUE ZONE = Go grab it while still available GREEN ZONE = Worth buying (Case-by-case. Luck often can be boosted) PURPLE ZONE = Worth buying. But before 2022 is up.. consider selling or enhancing the Feng Shui. Pronto. YELLOW ZONE = On a case-by-case basis. But before 2022 is up.. consider selling or enhancing the Feng Shui. Pronto. GREY ZONE = Period 8, below average luck. And in Period 9 it depends. Since this is 2017. Maybe in 2021, if luck is greater than 60 to 100 percent. MAY consider buying it THEN (not in 2017).
  19. These are further considerations: 1. "A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush" = As I write.. today is only 2017. And Period 9 will slowly change starting from 2022..2023.. 2024 to 2043 = "It is better to hold onto something one has or will have than to risk losing it by trying to get something better after 4 or 5 years later. 1.1. In the unfortunate situation that one has to literally walk away with pants drop before 2022 ever begins. Is'nt this stupidity at it's best? 2. If the Feng Shui for the home in Period 8 is excellent or good; then one may consider purchase. Given that today is 2017. And the change is from 2022 .. 2023 and 2024 to 2043 3. Thus, if there is means to have a smooth career or accumulation of wealth, then even if the home or starting to kick in from 2022 is not so good.. one can before this date look at cures or if can afford find a better home. 4. No point if the geomancer says.. this home from 2022..2023 and 2024 to 2043 WILL have outstanding Feng Shui. But currently, the Feng Shui is average or even so-so. In such a situation skip the purchase of such a home. No point from 2017 to 2021 or next FIVE (5) years.. get into retrenchments, career issues, loss of wealth.. health concerns or even divorce/separation. 5. Of course, it is nice-to have a home that will have good or above average Feng Shui in both Periods 8 and 9. if so, grab this home. But it is few and harder to find.. then.. refer to Para 1 above.
  20. As a geomancer, for the last few years; whenever clients look at a Can or cannot buy; I have always included the review of what it is like (the Feng Shui) of now = Period 8 and my comments on Period 9. Many clients naturally, sit-up and understand what I had written for off-site reviews and for on-site; they also take note of the findings. As such, it shows that not only yourself wants to understand this; but everyone else also keen - if they were aware of it. Unless, they seek advice from some other geomancers who may not highlight this to them. If do not know.. then how to ask? Frankly, this is part of excellent service.. It is just like taking a Masters in Business Administration and never getting to know one of the core subjects: Strategic Management/Planning.
