  1. A highly unusual "cork-screw" Head at the frontage of this house / apartment complex. Most likely the architect collect "cork-screws" as a hobby? And managed to convince his/her poor clients to do the same.. but visually ...
  2. The Red House Although Red symbolises prosperity to the Chinese. Seldom we see actual homes or apartment complexes in bold chilli or maroon red. However, it is different for shop owners or iconic hotels. But once a while; a bold architect with a bolder client may just get together and ... P.S. Note the Red door with white borders belongs to a Bao shop where I stood to take the photos...
  3. Please ignore the rubbish bins at the bottom of each of the photos. This home in Tanjong Katong Road has fence motifs that resembles the Swastica
  4. The Precinct Pavilion is in full or partial view of lower storeys of stacks 01, 03, 29 and 31.
  5. Ang Mo Kio Court Sales Brochure: Sales Plan and Floor Plans: ang-mo-kio-court.pdf Year 2020 - Falls under Period 8 Flying Star Feng Shui HDB Ang Mo Kio Court @ Ang Mo Kio Street 22 / 23 Based on common sense.. the existing dustbin compound of sticks out like a sore-thumb especially for block 228B Stack 37 low floors (storeys)... No need a Feng Shui trained in Feng Shui to....
  6. HDB Bedok North Woods and Common sense 1. Common sense says that: 1.1. If possible avoid a home that is constantly bathe by direct or indirect afternoon sun rays. 1.2. It is obvious what direct afternoon sun rays are like. For example a West unit where standing inside the living room the facing direction is West or SW (slight slant). 1.3. Less obvious are the indirect afternoon sun rays. 1.3.1 For example, some young couples happily go into a resale flat and find the house lovely. 1.3.2 One thing that they forgot was that the owners turned on the air-con during their visit(s). 1.3.3 Some couples after having purchased that unit and on a hot sunny day could suddenly feel the heat oozing out of e.g. the master bedroom wall even right up to 7, 8 or 9 pm. 1.3.4 If one is prepared to turn on an air-conditioner all night long then fine or ok. Otherwise, even a ceiling fan does not actually help. As hot air is continuously circulated as the walls still give off the heat. 2. Coming back to HDB Bedok North Woods; I always look at a development to find where the precinct pavilion is located. 3. For example, for low floors stacks #413, #415 and #431 directly faces the precinct pavilion. Who cares if this is the back of the pavilion. Or even the front. The precinct pavilion is still in full view of nearly all windows and balconies (if any). 4. On the opposite side: low storeys of stacks #445 and #447 equally face the front side of the precinct pavilion. 5. One more consideration is that for these two stacks #445 and #447; the potential roof-line of the precinct pavilion is like a sickle knife or a rough representation of a knife blade slicing towards a specific stack of either and or #445 and #447. 6. Common sense says that for example; this is the Chinese New Year. And unfortunately, a wake was carried out in the precinct pavilion.....
  7. Water seems to By-pass our development. No wonder.. people at HDB called our development a CREEK.. What has the geomancer got to say about this?
  8. "Rule 1: The BOSS is always Right" "Rule 2: See Rule 1 + YOU ARE FIRED!"
  9. 1. Do a search in this forum and some of the key considerations on this topic is the "Hot and cold" continuum debate: 2. For example: there are the die-hard ultra conservatives who believes that only when the foundations are demolished and a new development takes it's place than a change of period occurs. 2.1. On the other than there are the fence sitters and the modernists who are open or receptive that a change might occur under certain conditions. 2.2. Thus you have the "Hot and Cold" view points and some in between these two. 3. In my opinion; there is a further equation: What type of house is this? 3.1. If it is a landed property... certain situations like e.g. removing the roof of the house totally for at least 100 days... etc.. 3.2. For a condo unit that is "stuck" to their various twins or triplets or quads etc.. there is a valid argument for the ultra conservatives to belief that it is harder to change the period. 4. For a home or apartment that has been lived in by the same family for sometime; then perhaps a common sense approach to this topic is... to look at the attachment... 5. In the days gone by; when everyone look at Japan; 5.1. I always remembered Sony's President's moto: "Research Makes the Difference".... And similarly, if this can be applied; it would be wonderful.. if not.. then... really... 6. For a geomancer; in this instance; myself : it is about Sight, Smell and Feel (SSF). When I enter a home that had been renovated; I would try to use these SSF. 7. IT DEPENDS! Thus, sometimes; I feel that when I enter a home; the feeling is "freshness". On other times... even after extensive renovations.. the house feels STALE that of "yester-years" not "brand" new... I could be wrong... 7.1. The additional feel comes from walking the surroundings.. taking a lift up to the unit; the external area outside of the home.. 7.2. You know, lah.. such things are hard to pen .. down...
  10. I believe, most potential purchases must have been wondering about the huge land that house a power sub-station (PSS). In my opinion: 1. The good news is that although the PSS land looks huge; 2. The size of the sub-station building is of a reasonable size. And quite common to see a similar sized PSS. Just that this one literally sticks-out like a sore-thumb that's all. 3. In my opinion; personally, I have read all over and even some condos have a sub-station right above a unit. Take for example: The Meyer Place. A unit #02-02 is just above a PSS devoted for this private development of 23 units. 4. I have known the owners of #02-02 there since the place T.O.P.; And their children did not turn out to be "this or that" as what some have imagined! 5. This may be different with say micro-wave transmitting stations .... 6. In fact, one plus point coming from the PSS is that it is usually maximum of 2 level heights if we consider some additional roofing. And units facing this PSS that are say 4 or more storeys would permanently enjoy "clear-space" or open space. 7. There is thus no possibility at all for any other buildings to replace the sub-station!
  11. EastCreek @ Canberra Sales Brochure: Site Plan and Floor Plans eastcreek-@-canberra.pdf Lease Commencement Date: 2019 Macro Feng Shui of HDB East Creek @ Canberra 1. There is a river: Sungei Simpang Kiri at the South-Eastern tip of HDB East Creek @ Canberra. 2. This development is thus influenced by external Shapes and Forms and precisely The Water Classics. 3. If one has bought a unit especially at Block 102A especially stack 65 & also 67, 69 and 71; best to get expert advice from any Geomancer i.e. to study and evaluate Sungei Simpang Kiri's influence (if any). 3.1. Factors include the distance between the block/stack to the river 3.2. The river flow and it's strength e.g. fast / slow or moderate flow on ordinary days etc... 3.3. What types of trees etc.. at the uncompleted park 3.4. The future road. As this is considered another water course... etc..
  12. Frankly all I can say is "Hope for the best!" As I really don't have an answer just by penning a few lines of text...
  13. 1. In my opinion, this has more to do with Common Sense. 2. And for simplicity; I coined this: "Common sense Feng Shui." 3. In many of my examples: I always; first try to see if there is a link between common sense, first. And if so; because of common sense that some say it is "bad" Feng Shui. 4. There are numerous examples in my other replies. 5. Why common sense:- 5.1. "2) watertank of a building?" Usually the structural engineer had already taken into consideration the watertank above a unit. In the past; in Korea, a shopping mall had air-conditioner units on it's roof top. Many factors such as these air-con units were constantly re-arranged; and other factors include; more loading due to food outlets just one floor below the roof; had to add more assets such as heating elements in the flooring etc... As all these structures were man-made; an error or even "touch-wood" an earth-quake with the same wave-length can even shake and weaken the structure of a roof etc.. or if one has seen many older HDB homes .. there are spalding concrete as the re-bars became rusty.. etc.. At the roof-top; water always finds the easiest way downwards. Thus if the roof top are not properly maintained; or "water-proofed"... it may just weaken the structure.. 5.2. Just last year, my client who is a Doctor; was house-hunting. And one of the units that he had considered was at The Hillside condo at Bukit Timah. 5.2.1. He personally told me that he had used a "meter" and found that while within the unit; the "micro-wave" was weak; but when he tested the "micro-wave" at the open areas e.g. pool side etc... it was quite "hot".... 5.3.2. Subsequently, he gave The Hillside condo a miss. By the way; there are two transmitting towers around 100 metres away from Block 343 The Hillside etc... 5.4. I took some photos of the transmitting towers. And if one has the time, can do a search in this forum for "The Hillside". 5.5 The Management principle: "It depends" applies, here: 5.5.1. It depends on the type of transmitting towers. Those that transmit most Handphone signals of the 800 or 900 hertz or the microwave .. may be a concern in close proximity. 5.5.2. I am no expert, here. But I believe; those transmissions such as radio broadcasts in the AM or FM of SW range... should be fine? As these signals also happen to be in space... Do check out..

  21. So sorry, as there are already too many requests on this subject. And these questions are too personalized to an individual.
  22. 1. I like to personally thank Robert Lee for his tireless effort to migrate to this new forum. 2. It is really no joke to try to retain a forum that has so many resources as far back as 1998! 3. At a few waypoints when Robert was migrating this forum; even Google sent us a friendly guiding hand to tell us that their "harvesting" robots; suddenly could not find our links. 4. Robert, would then find out what was wrong and correct it. 5. The rationale is that unlike any other Geomancy (Feng Shui) web-sites; 5.1. Where you can only search the majority of their main page. 5.2. Many of such Geomancy (Feng Shui) sites resorted to advertise and pay Google for a fee for a listing. 5.3. Or if you were to browse the resources in Geomancy.net; you will find lots of other local Feng Shui sites advertising on our site. 6. The unique thing about Geomancy.net resources is that if I were to post a specific topic e.g. The Topiary. Thanks to Google; it will bring up relevant pages-:) 7. Thus, this is one reason, Geomancy.net do not need to advertise from day One. 8. There are at least a total of >50,000 resources or more on Feng Shui Topics. 9. We are pleased that our efforts are not wasted. And if this was the year 2002; or today; one can still search the vast resources and the frank opinions on various topics under one roof. 10. Thank you for your support. As without you, we will not have the motivation to carry on and on.. since 1996... onwards.. Cheers! Cecil Lee Geomancy.net
