  1. Cecil: I have a mirror in my living room that is indirectly reflecting the stairs to the second level of my home. If you stand about 5 feet to the left of the mirror, you can see the stairs reflected. I have heard that a mirror reflecting stairs is bad Feng Shui. I can move the mirror if necessary. What is your suggestion? Thank you.
  2. Cecil: I have an open air porch in front of my house that has 3 square pillars that help to hold up the overhang that shades the porch. 2 of the pillars are on either side of the main door to the house and one of the pillars is to the far left of the main door. I have heard that square pillars are bad because the sharp corners send out shar chi. Can you suggest a cure?
  3. Dear Sir: I have 2 questions: 1. The main door to my house is a heavy wooden door that has stained glass on the top half of the door. The door is facing the West. I have heard that a main door with glass is not good Feng Shui. Can you suggest a cure other than replacing the door which would be expensive. 2. I want to put a mirror in my dining room to reflect the dining room table because it is supposed to be auspicious. The problem is that if I put a mirror in the dining room that will reflect the table it will also reflect the kitchen door which I heard is bad. Can you suggest a cure?
  4. I have recently read two books about Feng Shui written by Lillian Too. In both books she mentions the danger of having the master bedroom over a garage. Unfortunatley in my house the master bedroom where I sleep is in the North corner of the house, directly over the gargage. I am not in a position to move to another bedroom or have the garage converted into a room as Lillian suggests. Can you suggest a Feng Shui cure for this problem?
