Negative ions : water friction with air
LIFE ON SATURN MOON? New evidence that liquid water lies beneath the surface on the Saturn moon of Enceladus has been discovered by Nasa scientists, suggesting that life may exist. Nasa's Cassini spacecraft flew through icy plumes created by ice volcanoes and detected negatively charged water molecules - a clear sign that an under ground sea exists. On Earth, this short-lived typed of ion is produced where water is moving, such as in waterfalls or crashing ocean waves. If there is liquid water on Enceladus, Nasa scientists believe Saturn's sixth-largest moon could have the conditions necessary to sustain life. Source: THE DAILY TELEGRAPH

Concave Ba Gua mirror and charms
The owner of this house uses these items:- 1. The Ba gua trigram on the outside of the concave mirror is to ward off evil. 2. The charms with the mao pi is also meant to ward off evil. 3. The greatest threat for a neigbhour facing such an apartment (apartment door face to face) is the concave mirror in the middle of the ba gua mirror. The intention of such a concave mirror is to "suck wealth".... 3.1 There are many versions of such a mirror: some with the Chi-lin in the middle; some with the flat mirror; These are purely to ward off evil. 3.2 some Ba Gua's with the convex mirror are to deflect poison arrow(s) or sha qi.

Please advise for my apartment feng shui
For 2: the best is to close the door when not in use. For 1: if the toilet location has bad flying star numbers; that would indirectly be good. Such questions are something like: my earlier example of a person who has 7 grown up family members. He is now driving a saloon car (capacity of 5 persons). How are you going to squeeze the other two family members in that car - I wonder. Go get a Deluxe MPV with a seating capacity of 7 to 8 persons, then. Anonymous wrote: Dear Master Cecil lee, I have study your course note that mentioned about our toilet. Actually, I need your assistant to help me to improve my house fengshui, thanks. 1) When open my main entrance door, next to my right hand side is my toilet location with full wall, what can I do to enhancement for it ? 2) My toilet door is directly facing my master bedroom door, I always close my toilet door, is that the correct way to improve it only? Please advise. Regards Tan Kah Yeow Geomancy.net student

Bougainvillea plant species
1. In the 1960's to 1970's the bougainvillea plant especially those in red and purple were very popular with Singapore landed property homes. 2. Many plant the bougainvillea plant at the corner of their homes for a reason - with it's torns; it is less likely for a robber to climb into the home from the fencing area. 3. However, the bougainvillea plant needs constant trimming else; it can quickly overgrow. 4. This house has both the bougainvillea plant and just behind the cluster of bougainvillea plants are the "Lipstick or Maharaja" palm. The Lipstick palm is very popular between the mid 1980's till-today! Surpassing the bougainvillea and even mango and rambutan plants (which are popular in the 1970's).

what remedy if office direction not favourable
1. These are some of the considerations:- 1.1. If one is a salaried worker and not involved in the planning or future planning of office sitting arrangement. There is relatively nothing much one can do, here. 1.2. If oen is a sole proprietor of the business; would normally or may have good earth luck by renting or owning a good premise(s) and a good sector (even if the facing direction) is not favourable. 2. Frankly, for the Eight House concept: it is nice-to-have working in a good sector (especially Flying star sector)and even equallynice-to-have seating facing a good direction. 3. The Eight House concept offers: no cure: It is eitheror not and no if's or but's. For example, if one has a total family of 7 members. And if one owns only a saloon car that can offically seat 5 persons. Tell me; how are you going to squeeze all 7 family members? Tie one on the roof rack and another thrown into the boot? Kidding rite? Go get a MPV, instead (full stop) 4."Look elsewhere, please. These are somekey success factors:- * Fix-the-Leak, First! * Situational Approach * The Concept of Maximizing Marks * The Concept of Feng Shui by Exception * The Customer Engineer Concept

5 yellow at Southwest sector in 2010
1. Further to what I had mentioned, these are some other considerations:- 1.1. Why did you recommend a general cure for the living room but not my children's bedroom? 1.2. For the children's bedroom there is another set of consideration: 1.2.1 For example the ba zi of the child or if there are more than one child; their ba zi has to be looked at in total. 1.2.2 For example: Child A is a strong metal person. And child B is a strong wood element. And both stay in a bedroom. [1.] Child A, Female - 07 Oct 1993 5.00 a.m. to 6.59 a.m. Birth Element: Strong Metal Favourable Element/Colour: Water (blue/black/gray), Fire (red), Wood (green/brown) Unfavourable Element/Colour: Earth (yellow), Metal (white/gold) Wealth Element/Colour: Wood (green/brown) [2.] Child B, Male - 22 Jul 1995 3.00 a.m. to 4.59 a.m. Birth Element: Strong Wood Favourable Element/Colour: Fire (red), Metal (white/gold), Earth (yellow) Unfavourable Element/Colour: Water (blue/black/gray), Wood (green/brown) Wealth Element/Colour: Earth (yellow) Comparing between Binding Element Chid A & Child B Strong Metal vs Strong Wood FireTheir binding element is "fire" element. 2. Is your information complete? Your information given is like: a little information is a dangerous thing especially for a bedroom. I have already caution about the living room - but as this is a common area; reluctanlty given some advice as the bedroom is "complicated" by (in general)humans staying in that bedroom. 3. Thus all these unknown variables are often looked at with the 20 Year Flying Star number and in your case the annual flying star number. 4. Isn't this a good enough reason not to suggest a cure for the children's bedroom.

Cures which to use?
Anonymous wrote: Master Lee, I am confused, if in a sector there are M#9 W#5 B#2 Year#3 and Month#7. If I use metal cure against #2 and #5, it would support #7? If I use fire cure against #3, it would fuel #2 and #5? If I use water cure against #7 and #9, it would fuel #3? Please enlighten me. Thank you in advance. Warm regards, 1. In my opinion; the "better" cure is still a metal cure. As #7 is for a month only and #7 is a weak metal element. And even if it is a bad star; it does help to reduce M#9 W#5 B#2. 2. The other alternative is a water feature (definitely in a bedroom, store, toilet, kitchen etc) - that consists of all five elements in it:-Resource: http://fountain.geomancy.net Under this resource goto Para 2.1 to 2.12 on what makes a good water feature.

5 yellow at Southwest sector in 2010
1. Please refer to this last message posting: "Which cures to use - see below" 2. The user has indicated what kind of flying star numbers in a specific sector. And from that message; and even withall the various sector stars; the user has a dilemma as to which cure to choose. 3. I have recommended the cure(s) purely for your living room based on assumptions. Andsinceit is the living room area; itis not directly towards them if thegeneral cures are not appropriate. Given that your message isa fewsentences without even any of such flying star numbers. 4. If you want to risk your children, thenunfortunately; it would like throwing a dice and asking you to placea "cure" and cross-fingers. I don't think you want it rite? The saying goes a "miss is as good as a mile" or a little knowledge is a dangerous thing. Placement of red mat at entrance of house
1. Usually, the most common method to determine whether it could be used at that sector is thru the 20 Year Flying Star chart. 2. For example: if the main entrance area has nasty stars like:- 2.1 #5 and/or #2 and/or with #9 then RED will further inflame either #5 (misfortune/sickness) or #2 (sickness) 2.2 On the other hand, if the sector has #3 or even #4; RED would be good at that sector. 3. "Rule-of-thumb" method: some just ignore what I had mentioned above - and go for it......

5 yellow at Southwest sector in 2010
Anonymous wrote: My children's bedroom and part of our living room (with TV, hi-fi, etc) fall in the southwest sector of our house. What can we do toalleviate the effects of the 5 yellow this year? 1. If there are window(s) at the living room area; the most effective is to use "moving" metal e.g.a six hollow rod wind chime to constantly help to neutralise #5. Note: it should not be placed in the children's bedroom. 2. Alternatively a mechanical table clock that gives off a tick-tock sound is another possiblity. 3. The last alternative is : to check the 20 year flying star numbers at that sector to see if a water position may/could be placed at that sector. As generally, SW is one of the sector(s) that may be considered having one. A water position; in such a situation can kill two birds with one stone: activate indirect water wealth spirit up to 2023 and help to control #5.

Resale flat fengshui
Monsieur L. wrote: Hello Sir, I bought a resale flat, that was built in 2003 in Whampoa area. The orientation of the flat is not very ideal. I did not like it because the maindoor faces north, living room and one common bedroom face east. The two other rooms, faces direct west including the kitchen. I am expecting this unit to be extremely HOT day and night. div> Reason why i bought because my mom is super superstitious, the unit is located on the 8th floor and she insist to have it but i am the one going to service the loan and am the sole breadwinner of the household. Is this flat consider bad fengshui? 1. Yes, I agree with you with regards to the major concern of "extremely HOT day and night". 2. Other than that; the adage: "location, location and location": Shapes and Forms which you have roughly touched on and equally important is the Compass School of Feng Shui: Eight house and Flying stars - if one wants to further determine or "fine-tune" a home's Feng Shui. 3. For example, when I personally buy a home: 1st thing is location, location and location. 4. And as you had correctly mentioned: effect of afternoon sun if any "soaking" into the home. 5. Other than that; for my personal home: so long as the home usually have double auspicious #8's at the facing direction; 6. I am OK with it even if the toilet is at the centrepoint etc.. Frankly, there is no such thing as a perfect home unless one TRIES to built it. 7. Even after the homehas been built; a future neighbour could easily built a home with sha qi pointing towardsthe "perfect" home.Even so, it is hard toalways maintain a perfect home now and forever.

5 yellow flying star
1. One has to understand that Flying Star Feng Shui is dynamic based on "time dimension". 2. Even for a home or any given home: each home or sector in a home mathematically has the following variable:- Under the 20 Year flying star: there are:- Mountain star: variable 1 Water star : variable 2 Base (Palace star) : variable 3 You mentioned the Year star: variable 4 There are such things as: Monthly star: variable 5 Daily star : variable 6 Hourly star: variable 7 Seconds star: variable 8 3. Mathematically:there are an interplay of at least 8 variables and only when there are an unfortunate clusters of #5 ... then one is in deep shit. Do not play loud music or have the television here. The problem is we have limited space. There is no where that I can transfer our TV set. Is there a solution to my problem? Thanks so much and God bless. 4. Majority of the time; this is a misunderstanding:"Do not play loud music or have the television here". 5. Only under special situations: where the interaction of the mountain and water star that we need to keep a location "quiet". Otherwise, what you mentioned is far from the truth! 6. In fact, in many instances: sound e.g. tick-tock of a click or constant metal e.g. includes a silver "anniversay" clock can help to destroy "#5". 7. In addition: even for the Tai Sui location at north-east-north 60 degrees.. who says cannot turn on tv or radio. 8. But for those who are "scared" to do so; and still "productive" can certainly help meet the government's goal of more births in the country. Thus: removing tv or not turning it on : only helps the government to try to achieve their goals only. Look at it; this is not a bad thing. 9. In fact, for those who don't understand; and have a small home; best not to turn on tv, radio, lights out, no washing machine; no dryer.. hows that for your quality of life: I wonder?

Doing prework for paid report - Flying Stars
Judith L. wrote: Hello again, Masters Lee! Three questions this time, I hope I am not trying your patience so much. I am doing prework for my planned paid report order by checking flying stars for my period 6 house based on the door that might be the best to use for the year, prior to getting a paid report for which direction seems favorable. (I am sorry about doing all this pre-work myself as I can only afford one report due to a really terrible year last year. And I really mean terrible) 1. Am I doing this right? Do the mountain and water stars really change based on which door I am indicating on the FS Report tool? Yes, each chart has a different set of mountain / water / base star numbers. Judith L. wrote: Hello again, Masters Lee! 2. I am an East person, but the only other door to use is at the West which is not in my suitability directions. Using that door, however, makes the house face South even as the doorway itself is at the West--does that make it any better for me and my family? Or should I indicate South in the flying star paid report request in that case? Usually, the most important consideration is "whereis the FACING" direction of the home. Inmany instances the doorfaces the same direction as the FACING direction. In other instances, the door can face west butif theFACING direction is still South;then the FACING direction (regardless of where the door is) is facing South. Thus under Flying Star: the housemay/could /should befacing S1 or S2/3. Judith L. wrote: Hello again, Masters Lee! 3. I have read the sample reports also, which is why I am planning to get one for myself. I am curious, between a room with favorable stars but unsuitable direction (ie, spook) or a room in favorable direction but with bad stars (5 and 2s and 7s) is it better to stay in favorable locations and fix bad stars or go to the one with good stars but in unsuitable direction? If one has the luxury of choosing bedrooms (excluding other factors like afternoon sun facing etc..) it is beter to stay in a room with good stars even if it is unsuitable direction. Again, one has to see how bad the stars are: For example you quoted:5 and 2s and 7s while in an actual room there is MS#5 ; WS#2 and Base #5 or #9. Even between such comparisions your example where there is still a #7 small metal element even if it is bad is far better than MS#5 ; WS#2 and Base #5 or #9. Thus with MS#5 ; WS#2 and Base #5 or #9: there is less leeway for "cures" or a guaranteed cure vs 5 and 2s and 7s which is less of a concern. Therefore, what you mentioned DEPENDS on how bad the stars really are in that room. Or if both rooms have equally bad stars but different stars.. then they have to be reviewed, further.

Choosing between sectors?
1. Usually, a visual glanceat a chart is the safest bet. As can immediately see which sector qi has the most influence and also draw a mental picture of how qi can flow in that specific room. 2. In theory, based on what you had written; below; The NE sector looks "pretty" bad. Thus between the devil (NE) and the "shallow" North(not deep) blue sea; it would have to be the not so deep blue sea i.e. North Note: #2 = sickness; #4 = wood element (not as bad) #9 fire element fuels #2 (sickness) and there are two #2 and one #5 (Misfortune/sickness). If you refer to some Feng Shui books they will often say "avoid .... sleeping... here...) Libby I. wrote: My mom's room isdevided into two sectors: N and NE. The North sector has 2 mountain and 4 water, & the annuel star 4. The North-East sector has 9 mountain and 2 water, & the annuel star 2 & the monthly star 5. Whichsector is better for sleeping?

Door facing each other... Good or Bad? Is there a cure for this?
Please see attachment with illustration on where to place the two red dots. In this attachment; I have shown two locations each for the placement of the red dots. Must avoid placing the RED dot behind the handle of the door knob. As there is no direct path or "view" from the back plate of the door knob. What happens if the red dot fades? Less wear and tear area is actually the key hole area. Or use a durable round sticker.

Door facing each other... Good or Bad? Is there a cure for this?
1. These are some of the considerations: 1.1. It has more to do with pyscholgy: where just imagine both parties exit each of the bedroom and eyes "meet head to head". This symbolises perhaps: personal clashes. 1.2. However, if only one bedroom is occupied and the other bedroom being a guest room is vacant most of the time. If so, there is relatively no issue with the two doors facing each other! 1.3. Feng Shui is also about symbolism. Thus the most common symbolic approach is to place a "RED" dot on the same area of each of the two doors. Here, the two RED dots symbolise eyes i.e. see eye to eye with each other. 1.4. How or what kind of red dot? It can a dot much like the pupil of an eye or smaller diameter. And just anything red can be used e.g. a permanent red felt pen or a red circular sticker or even for ladies with eithe chilli red or maroon nail vanish can also be used. 2. Contrary to popular belief; Feng Shui is not all things "renovation or demolishing a wall etc..." Far from it. Grace P. wrote: Hi. I need help. We just bought a new house. The door to the guest bedroom and my sons bedroom are facing each other with the guest bathroom door on the middle. I was told that having two doors facing each other is not a good one. Is there any remedy aside from a renovation?

Lipstick Palm, Maharajah Palm, Sealing Wax Palm an

This is one of the most popular plants, planted in a landed property especially at the front fencing area - as it is very good at camouflage or provide a nice screen 'privacy' screen for a home. And because it's stem (trunk) is red in colour; red at the frontage of a Chinese home symbolises auspiciousness. What happens to the orange tree after lunar year
1. When we see "KUM" (minature mandarin orange)trees.. it simply meansChinese New Year is around the corner! 2. It is strongly not recommended to eat the fruits as these trees were "artifically" fertilised to yield a bumper harvest of minature "KUMs". 3. These minature mandarin oranges should only be admired but thus not eaten. Treat them as ornamental plant with fruits.

Designer Lamp post along Lor H Telok Kuraru Rd
1. This special design lamp posts can be found along the stretch of Lor H Telok Kurau Road. 2. The lamp post seemingly looks stylish; but yet hides an ugly truth: Under symbolism in Feng Shui; it is not good for homes to face the "twin pointed" archer's arrow-heads aimed towards the opposite house! 3. A design ... from Feng Shui point of view that went the "wrong way" to the dogs!
-
Roof line of opposite house
1. Indeed, if the roof line points directly towards the window instead of the main door; then it makes more sense for the wind chime = 6 hollow rod wind chime to be placed, there. 2. It was because, perhaps; the photo may be "misleading" as from the earlier picture that you had shown; it does seem that the poison arrow of the roof line "strikes" the main door. Since you have explained clearly; then the threat should be towards the window. 3. As such threats are "singular" or "ONE" threat PER situation. This is not like ICBM's inter-continental ballistic multiple warheads that seeks different target. This is akin to "an eye for an eye" sort of thing. Not like "an eye for a main door and a window opening". 4. Another passive "cure" is simply to have a second set of "day curtains" but this has to be drawn - "If it can no longer (or vaguely) seen; it no longer becomes a threat. Anonymous wrote: I have one more question, I hope you don't mind. When waiting for the landscape, we use windchime. The opposite house was newly built, when that house was still in frame phase, we observed the roof line and know that the line points directly to the window next toour maindoor. The window is also important to us, it's the study room and our children spend 4, 5 hours in that room everyday. Can we place the windchime to protect the window instead of the door? Thank you again, and sorry for so many questions.
