The significance of #7 under Period 8
Under Period 7: #7 is a good star. But under Period 8: it turned sour: "theft or robbery" (robbery of luck)...

What other's say about us?
I have made the conference: What others say about us? public. This conference is a collection of favourable comments which we had collated in the past from well-wishers, clients and anyone which had visited or used our site or services. Warmest Regards, Cecil Lee

Is the #2 and #5 stars bad stars during period 6?
1. Earth element is abundant and is always "there" in every season i.e. Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter. 2. Roughly, when spring is near it's end, earth element is suppose to be at it's strongest and this cycle appears at the end of summer, autumn etc.. 3. Although #2 is considered as the future prosperity, in a proper Flying star chart, all three variables need to be considered i.e. Mountain, Water and Base star. 4. Flying star Feng Shui is based on time dimensions. And while realistically, we can only analyse sectors in general for the next 20 years "average". There are so called: Yearly, Monthly, Daily, Hourly stars. Thus a sector may suddenly find itself with #2 or #5 or even being inflamed by #9 in any of the above combinations. 5. The most sickning stars are #2 and #5 (of course others include #3 and #7). But these two already condemn us especiallywith illness (sickness!) 6. During the last period #7 (1984 to 2003): #7 "became auspicious" and now it becomes "theft or robbery" - can be theft or rob our luck not necessarily there is higher incidence of theft or robbery!

Fengshui cures for elements
1. Since you are new to this forum, you can try to find out more the key success factors in applying DIY Feng Shui:- http://www.geomancy.net/wiki/Main_Page#Key_Success_Factors_in_D.I.Y._Feng_Shui All the key success factors can be found in this forum:- * The Concept of Maximizing Marks * The Concept of Feng Shui by Exception * The Customer Engineer Concept * Fix-the-Leak, First! * The Three-Step-Approach * Commonsense Approach Fact or Fiction? * Fast Food Feng Shui I am currently working on a wiki. As the forum has a limitation in that although it is good for posting threads, it is not good at organizing, collating and re-organising useful information. Sorry, the wiki is only a few weeks old. Unlike this forum which is more than 10 years old! Frankly, your "problem" if you can call it a problem relates to at least 20 percent of the entire population of the world x a factor of 2 or 3 times. Usually, there is no point in "cracking" one's mind or head on a problem that may not have a proper solution at all. However, try to understand concepts like the "Concept of Maximizing Marks" etc... And even the "Customer Engineering Concept". Another point is BEWARE of sites or personalities that:- 1. Advertise commercial products "under the name of Feng Shui". These people will try to "milk" our hard earn money! 2. People or sites which tell you to join them to learn "SECRETS" of Feng Shui. There is nothing really secret about Feng Shui that one cannot pick up or find out about. These sites mostly are lots of "bulls". Authentic Feng Shui has many Commonsense rights or wrongs and learning Feng Shui is about objectivity. Not hocus pocus.

Bed Direction
Quote: Anonymous wrote: If my MBR door and Main door both have the same facing, is it true that I can't place my bedheadagainst the opposite wall facing the bedroom door (even if not in any direct alignment)? 1. Feng Shui is also based on commonsense. And often, many of us don't feel good especially when we lie on the bed and can see the bedroom door over-looking the main door. It is often this "feel-uneasy" factor that we should consider. As all these have more to do with "human luck" i.e. feel not so easy kinda of situation. Quote: Also, if a particular facing of the bed is good for my husband but not good for me, is there any remedy, assuming that's the only possible placement? Can the Bedhead share the same wall as the stove? 2. Please see attachments:- 2.1 Files: stove position-n-masterbedroomA & B Generally, it is not favourable to have the stove sharing the same wall as the masterbedhead - as found under : stove position-n-masterbedroomA. In this example, the bed-head is moved towards another side of the wall. Under example: stove position-n-masterbedroomB, if the bedhead is against the wall; try to envisage: Person 1 (MR) and Person 2 (MRS). And the rationale why Mrs sleep closer to the windows while the husband (MR) sleeps closer to the bedroom door. This is the "remedy" that is commonly used. As Person 2 acts as a shield.

Is the #2 and #5 stars bad stars during period 6?
1. Please note that under ALL periods #2 and #5 are always considered bad stars with the EXCEPTION that:- 1.1 Under Period 2 : Since the reigning number is #2 for this period, #2 will turn good for that specific 20 years. But usually from past experience; especially the last few years of the decline of say period 2, better watch out for #2 also as it will slowly "turned bad". 1.2 Similiarly, only under Period 5, will #5 "turn good". In some periods, it may be good if it becomes one of the "future" or "future, future prosperity" stars as mentioned under Para 2, below. 2. From past messages, I have mentioned:- 3. Under current period 8 (1984 to 2023), the three "critical" wealth stars are: #8 = current prosperity ( 0 to roughly 2 years luck range) #9 = future prosperity (2 to 5 years luck) #1 = future, future prosperity (5 to 10 years luck) 4. From 2024 onwards to the next 20 years, #9 takes over as the current prosperity star: thus: #9 = current prosperity #1 = future prosperity #2 = future, futureprosperity (Thus under 2024 onwards, #2 becomes the future, future prosperity star) Please note that "earth elements" are always there in every season. Thus between seasons, earth element becomes strong.

Symbolism in Feng Shui ... at work...
Always try to "interpret" paintings or posters hung especially in the bedroom or livin room. Symbolism in Feng Shui is at "work" in such a situation. If truly in doubt, do not hang it!

The Feng Shui Ruler: & The Imperial Briefcase
The Feng Shui ruler is based on segements of every 17 inches. And if the diameter of a triangle is 17 inches, this is known as a "magic square".

Unable to drag quotes into the message box
Please note that the forum "software" does not reside on your system. It is like a web-based application. And we have some constraints and limitations in the use of it. Thus, since users don't often post that often, then try using "cut-paste" feature. Frankly, I do often reply on-the road with either my Sony models: UX or TX notebook pcs and the problem lies with my "voda-phone" modem = Singapore M1 provider. And Robert, had a worked around just for me. And because of this, we are not going to implement what you had mentioned. Thanks for your understanding!

Bedroom and bed in Death Direction
1. There is no issue with the bed is in front of the door. 2. You said: If they are put against the window, then they are in burial position, feet facing door." If you are trying to avoid the burial position" then simply don't DO this option (full stop). Not everything has an "effective" remedy. Again: don't do it! Quote: "If the beds are moved to the other side, then they are in front of the door. If they are put against the window, then they are in burial position, feet facing door."

Bedroom and bed in Death Direction
Usually a window either has a half-height window. If so, and if one's bed is not higher than the window openings, there is no issue, here. Thus if your situation; is as above, considered as a Non-issue. Nowadays, some homes especially condos, take the easier route or want to use more glass than concrete, may install full height windows. There are many ways of over-coming this. The easiest is to install opaque film(s) at the lower height windows. Alternatively, some have a length or row of a low height curtain rails so that a low height curtain(s) can be hung over it. On a commonsense approach, for those living in an apartment with such full height windows, on occassions, when one walks around the bedroom and wear minimal clothings or see thru dress, then someone peering inwards may get to see our "private " parts.

Bedroom and bed in Death Direction
1. Based on your current layout plan, the two beds are not in a "coffin position" especially if one's leg's does not face a door or at bed level faces any opening (glass opening). 2. So long as if one's legs face the bedroom door or as mentioned above, facing at body level, a window this is indeed a coffin position. 3. The rest of your questions are simple to pen down, that includes the flying star chart. Simple to post but needs thorough analysis.Try not to post more and more of them else it will be whiskered away to "Samples that will not be replied".

New apartment and kitchen/toilet issues
Yes, based on the interior layout (note: without checking the exterior); from the interior, it seems the facing "may / could" be SE facing. (Notcommenting on kua as not looking at it).

What is the significance of an all Yang Chart ?
In general, it is the opposite side of the continuum. When a person's chart has all yang elements, indirectly, too much yang turns "yin". So in general, his yang turns into yin. Frankly, indepth analysis, I can tell further. Anonymous wrote: Hi, My son's DOB is 13 April, 1982 8:00 AM GMT+8 It has all yang chart and has no wealth element in it. He is very accident prone and too many obstacle in his job. What is the significance of my son's all yang basi chart? With Respect, Ren88

Good Site at Mandai Columbarium
1. Mandai is already an "established" or has been existence for quite sometime. 2. Usually by now all the major prime sites have been taken up. However, do take into consideration:- 2.1 Afternoon / evening sun If possible, bring along a compass and try to avoid the niche facing or have direct afternoon evening sun shining onto it. Do becareful that the earth axis tilts and for some places, it may be affected by afternoon sun only for the first six months and vice versa. 2.2 Is there any intention to pray or provide offerings often? If so, usually waist height or at eye level is the most important! 2.3 Planning for the "future" 2.4. Some families, plan "ahead" and even booked several niches next to it. I don't want to sound inauspicious, but some do plan for a one , or one with two or one with three niches. 3. Generally, for niches, south or direct south facing would be good choices because it is guaranteed of not having direct sun light shining on it at any where. 4. For those who do not intend to visit the site "often" may consider higher up niches, where the niche are not (supressed) by others above it. 5. You can always use the url: dates.geomancy.net to check an auspicious date for installation of the niche. 6. Otherwise, nowadays, there is a limit to find a good niche! So far, the best site is at Bright Hill. But of-course, it has been "fully taken" and places there are at a premium. 7. Once cremated, there is also no issue to place an urn stacked by 3 or more other urns /niches one on top of each other. Much like Apartment blocks where there can be 1st storey to 24 or more storeys. Where there can be e.g. #05-55 or #06-55, #22-55, #23-55 etc...

New apartment and kitchen/toilet issues
1. if one already has an ocean front, it is not "compulsory" to add a water feature. 2. The NW affects the head of the house. So long as critical thing like stove or oven is found at NW and pipes are concealed, you have done your best given the situation. This should generally be good enough. 3. Without a sketch, it is either harder to comment or may wrongly provide inappropriate advice. Make sure that your bed is not placed at a corner i.e. dead qi area or the entire facade makes it difficult to circulate qi or airflow. This can be worse off then trying to arrange bed head to face a good direction. Quote: 1) I understand that SE2 facing has water star 8. Since the ocean is at clear sight and within 100m away, do I still need to place water feature at the SE2 window to activate the water star 8? 2) The kitchen and toilet are located at NW sector. If I relocated the toilet to W sector but piping still exit from NW sector, will this change the bad feng shui effect? Or remain at NW? 3) Since this is a SE-NW unit, bed position will be on NE wall. I understand this is no good for kua 3 person. Should I angle the bed to N and built a cabinet to cover the empty space behind the bed?

Water or Metal
1. Your authentic bazi info is based on your day pillar heaven stem. 2. Often for other calculations, for convenience some geomancers simply use the year "pillar", and thus say that it is your bazi element. 3. This is not exactly wrong, just that it is soley inadequate. 4. Under authentic bazi, traditionally it is made up of Year, month, day, hour plus house of life and house of conception. 5. To find out your exact bazi element, you may consider using our free reports to generate it.

Regrettably, updates for Wiki.Geomancy.net were discontinued in 2020 due to software issues and lack of support. We recommend visiting our forum for current information.
Dear All, I am currently working on the project of a " Wiki.Geomancy.net ". The main purpose of this wiki is to built on the foundations of this forum: 1. While a forum is very useful for posting and replying to daily messages, it's biggest drawback is it's inability to efficiently collate tons of daily messages in this forum. 2. How about setting up a Blog? A blog is like a daily journal of a person's activities, thoughts and aspirations. 3. While a " Wiki " can be used effectively to build a large reference "encyclopedia" of useful, organized information. 4. We are privileged to host and maintain a forum that is one of the oldest and information in this forum and entire website resources span no less than 13 or more years. 5. Bear with me, as I begin the journey of frequently updating the new "wiki!". Frankly, it may take me several months to even at least a year to "capture", collate and organize the on-going " wiki ". For the moment, the "wiki" editing is a "closed system". In the future, we may decide to allow what it's real intention, for the public to edit and refine the resources! My intention is that it will always continue to provide information of "Real people, Real life situations " or commonly known as Applied Feng Shui! Thank you for your continued, Support! Cecil Lee
