Moving bed other than my own during pregnancy
Congratulations! 1. This is more a belief by the Chinese. That the "bed-of-conception" or existing bed should never be moved during the duration of pregnacy and even during the baby's first month. 2. The idea is that the bed should not be "shaken". Which symbolise .. (not nice to say directly at the moment which can result in "Abo_t__n ")... 2.1. Thus, even if there is no hammering etc.. but if the bed has to be moved.. then -:( = Not favourable. 3. Unless: the pregnant lady no longer goes into the bedroom. 4. Under this year's 2017 Flying Star Feng Shui, best to avoid renovations especially at West = Grand Duke and also East. Thus what could be worse if that bedroom is located either in or partially at West or East this year:- 4.1 Source: https://www.geomancy.net/content/feng-shui-resources/yearly-forecast/rooster-2017-chinese-horoscope-feng-shui-yearly-forecast 5. Next year 2018, avoid renovations at West-North-West or 300 degrees. And North cardinal point:- 5.1 Source for other Flying Star Years: https://www.geomancy.net/content/feng-shui-resources/yearly-forecast/chinese-horoscope-feng-shui-yearly-forecast

2 1/2 feet distance; round corners
1. Built-in Wardrope Frankly, a quick glance of the layout and there is a certainty that the marking in RED "B" is definitely not an issue:- Above. Thus whatever the length of the poison arrow(s) if any e.g. 2 ft 2 1/2 feet 3 feet etc.. cannot be a poison arrow, since it can never be aimed towards a bed. And secondly the most vulnerable is the head and body e.g. abdomen etc... 2. The small cupboard - beside the wardrope marked in red as "A" 2.1. The bed is so far away from this marking in red "A" that it is at least 2 metres away from the bed. Thus cannot be a "poison arrow" issue at all. 3. "Coffin-position" where legs may inadvertently face bedroom door Hope this does not sound racists.. or anything of that sort. 3.1. For us Chinese, it is considered inauspicious for our legs to face the bedroom door. The above layout is exaggerated where I moved the bed closer to the bedroom door. More often, we would not sleep at the edge of our bed. But in the event that we do so... 3.2. This is because, for those living in a landed property. And if we bring a (dead) loved one into the home; the head of the deceased come in first e.g. into the living room. And when it is time to leave for burial or funeral, the legs go out first. 3.3. Thus because of Para 3.2; we consider it inauspicious to sleep with our legs facing the bedroom door. At most, close the door when sleeping.

The Crest by Wing Tai Holdings at Prince Charles Crescent
The Crest acquired by Wingstar Investment (Wing Tai Holdings LTD), Metro Australia Holdings and Maxdin: the site at Prince Charles Crescent. A "copy-cat" of the Taipei 101. Taipei 101 is tall. And this development has many "Stunted" Bamboo plants.. by nature. That is the only difference. One cannot go wrong with "point-block" or 8 main blocks where qi or wind can freely circulate between each block = Good Shapes and Forms. This means that many units will be shaded from rain, thanks to the upper floors that jut-out to shield them. This is what I like most about it... The Crest Just T.O.P.

color for wall on indented areas...
1. Some geomancers claim that colours will not affect the Feng Shui. However, this is an extreme view. 2. Perhaps, what these geomancers most likely meant was pastel colours or light shades like milky cream or even light greys are considered as neutral colours. In this sense; therefore PASTEL colours are generally, acceptable. 3. Most professional geomancers will consider the owner/family member's ba zi to try to harmonize it with the house. 4. For example, see below. The male owner is considered as a Strong Metal element. And his wife is a Strong Wood element. Thus their binding element is Fire element:- 5. Recently a person who had practiced Feng Shui or learning Feng Shui had asked me a question similar to yours. 6. In essence, I mentioned to be more careful of this "NOTE: SOME SECTOR(S) MAY NOT ACCEPT BRIGHT YELLOW &/OR BRIGHT RED &/OR GREEN COLOUR EVEN THOUGH THE COLOUR(S) MAY BE SUITABLE TO THE INDIVIDUAL" 7. Here, if one is not using bright colours such as RED, GREEN, BLUE or even YELLOW which are often "Primary" colours; then no issue with using colours like light grey etc...

Period 8 house that is still good in period 9 + Cecil gave an illustration of the technique during the switch over
1. There is frankly no encyclopedia or a manual to say for sure whether a home will change period or not. 2. As this is not an exact science. 3. Usually, when we enter a home; some people use their intutition to feel whether there is a potential change or not. 4. No matter what, many geomancers would plot two charts and compare them. 5. Frankly, Period 9 is just around the corner. And usually by 2022 onwards.. even if a home is under Period 8 may be more luck or less lucky when it comes to Period 9. 5.1 This is one more consideration. And you should prepare three charts: present, Period 8 and another for Period 9. (In case you might want to change to Period 9 instead). Although it is still a few more years more.

HDB Sky Vista @ Bukit Batok BTO launch in August 2017 - Is my unit still lucky?
Case Study: Is there a potential poison arrow from stack 512 towards stack 502? With the block/stack layout; the good news is that the poison arrow or sharp corner of stack 512 with 502 neutralises each other. Thus they cancel each other out = No issue or concern at all.

HDB Sky Vista @ Bukit Batok BTO launch in August 2017 - Is my unit still lucky?
Case Study: Nearby Bin Centre, Electrical Sub-station and Multi-storey car park MSCP 1. The lower floors of Block 114B with 4 stacks 504, 506, 508 and 510 are the least desirable soley under Shapes and Forms Feng Shui. 2. Low floors of Stacks 508 and 510:- 2.1. Low floors would mean looking towards either the Block 113C MSCP carpark or potential poison arrow from lamp posts on the roof of the MSCP car park. 2.2. These two stacks are closest to the BIN CENTRE. 2.3 Nowadays, I have walked past many large bin centres and mostly store disposal bulky items and even a rest room for the workers and their tools. 3. Low floors of stacks 504 and 506 are the closest to the large Electrial Sub-station (ESS). But fortunately, so far there are no known effects of magnetism on the human body. If not, MRI's would have been banned for use today.

HDB Sky Vista @ Bukit Batok BTO launch in August 2017 - Is my unit still lucky?
HDB Sky Vista @ Bukit Batok and the Precinct Pavillion (PP) It is good that not only is the planner of this development orderly while meticulous; they also did a good job in placing the PP beside the MSCP. Thus away from the view/noise of any of the stacks/units. The blocks/stacks/units are rectangular. And it is a good thing that only the MSCP and PP follows the profile of the plot. Plus it acts as a buffer from traffic noise.

HDB Sky Vista @ Bukit Batok BTO launch in August 2017 - Is my unit still lucky?
Sales Brochure: Site Plan and Floor Plans sky-vista-@-bukit-batok.pdf HDB Sky Vista @ Bukit Batok BTO launch in August 2017 This is a small estate. And the planner screams of an orderly type of design. Surprisingly, to me, it seems that the two blocks 114A and 114B good spacing. And follows the traditional popular: "North-South" facing. N2: With stacks 500, 502 , 512 & 514 has the double auspicious #8's wasted at the "back" of the unit. Thus not as favourable. S3. Stacks 504, 506, 508, 510, 516 and 518 are the best stacks for a East group person. As both frontage enjoys the double auspicious #8 wealth stars. And furthermore their facing directions has water. Bring great wealth. 1. Attached, please find a sample illustration of a Flying Star Period 8, S2 chart. 2. In the attachment: it is advantages for the [8] & [8] which symbolises : Prosperity, good wealth at the frontage of the home. Vs a N2 facing where this good stars are wasted at the "rear" which is usually the kitchen/yard area. 3. The only concern for a S2 facing chart is that so often, the kitchen may be located at NW sector. Which in Feng Shui is called: "Fire at Heaven's Gate". And this can affect the male breadwinner's career luck. 4. Thus for a South facing (S2) best to select a unit where the kitchen is either at North or North-east sector is preferred.

HDB West Scape (Westscape) @ Bukit Batok BTO August 2017 launch
Case Study: Avoiding low floors where one may be able to look into the Precinct Pavilliion (PP) 1. The Precinct Pavillions are highlighted in yellow. 2. Low floors of stacks/units highlighted in yellow may be able to look into the PP(s). 3. Stacks 1521 and 1635 are not facing the PP(s). But in situations where rituals are performed at the wake and/or music is playing ... can be noisy. 4. The planners of this development by placing a PP at block 433 means that at least 9 stacks may be "affected" by it. I did not even include stacks 1539 or 1587. Since it is at the fringe of the PP. See where are you comfortable with in terms of the PP. 5. Why are you so concerned about a PP? 6. There is no control as to when a wake/funeral occurs at the PP. If it happens during one of our festive occassions e.g. CNY. And if one has a full view of it; cannot close the living room windows and draw down the curtains on such an auspicious festive period.

HDB West Scape (Westscape) @ Bukit Batok BTO August 2017 launch
Sales Brochure: Site Plan and Floor Plans west-scape-@-bukit-batok.pdf Case Study: "Site Reserved for Place of Worship" and "Site Reserved for School". Are these two situations bad? HDB West Scape @ Bukit Batok BTO August 2017 launch 1. As the potential Place of Worship is a street away and directly facing Block 432A stacks 1507 and 1509. It is good to place these two 5 bedroom types as "Last Resort" or rather AVOID! ACTUNG! 2. Should I also avoid stacks 1511 and 1513? 2.1. Stack 1511 is along the fringe of the place of worship. While stack 1513 is away from it. 2.2. These two stacks are "better" off than stacks 1507 and 1509. If one can, see if there are any other better stacks/units to choice from. In doubt, don't get then! 3. What about a unit beside a school? I heard that this was bad or inauspicious. 3.1 Avoid a school's clock-face (if any facing a unit). 3.2 Fortunately, no new schools have a clock tower. Only old established schools like Catholic High etc.. has one. 3.3. Noise pollution: If one's unit is facing the school's assembly area and/or playground; Early in the morning at school assembly the Singapore anthem would be played. By this time; most adults would have gone to work and school going children to schoo. 3.4. Some Feng Shui Masters claim that it is not good to be next to or beside a school because to them; often after 4pm onwards or a single session school; by later afternoon or evening.. the school becomes YIN. And to them, YIN environment is not as good for luck. 3.5. If one asks me, this is more like a grand-mother's tale: As there is sufficient YANG qi or residual YANG qi left in the area after dark. This is why in most schools that does not have an old history of occupation by the Japanese / torture etc.. It is often a non-issue. 4. As most schools are of a certain height; do be careful of the roof-line of a school if any slicing or aimed towards one's opening(s) such as the main door / living room windows and other openings eg. bedroom windows.

HDB Rivervale Shores BTO launched in August 2017
Based on past precedence. With this number of flats; most likely HDB could have farmed out the project to two or more different contracts? Another consideration is that since these flats are only 18 storeys high; I believe, a conservative estimate is that it could take 3 or 3.5 years or even 4 years to complete? The longer to complete means that the 5 years sell-by date would be pushed further towards Period 9 Feng Shui. Given this consideration, it is good to consider the purchase taking into consideration both Period 8 and 9 Feng Shui.

HDB Rivervale Shores BTO launched in August 2017
Case Study: The planners placement of Precinct Pavillion(s) or (PP) is in my opinion a tell-tale sign of the how considerate or inconsiderate the architect/planners. Below: The three Precinct Pavillion (PP) in this 2,500 unit estate: In red = 1, 2 and 3. With two of them taking advantage siting them at the noisy Tampines Expressway (TPE). Which means, units are futher away from the TPE. This is considered a jumbo large development with 2,500 flats. Can understand the need for three (3) precinct pavillions PP. I must say relatively the planners have done a reasonably good job. In that they had placed two of the pavillions on the out-skirts: marked in red as "2" Blk 175 and "3" at Blk 173:- Can understand the constraints i.e. the final third precinct pavillion at Blk 170. This is the only PP that is visible to low floors of Block 170A stacks 28, 30, 32, 34, 36 and 38. Thus best to avoid purchasing low floors at Block 170A stacks 28, 30, 32, 34, 36 and 38.

Rivervale Shores Sales Brochure: Site Plan and Floor Plans rivervale-shores.pdf HDB Rivervale Shores BTO August 2017 The planners of this development has given much thought in how to maximise as many stacks/units as possible to enjoy the view of Serangoon Reservoir. The planners of HDB Rivervale Shores did this by adopting a unique and less common snake like configuration for block layouts:- Thus at the West end starting with block 170; this snake undulates along 170A, 170B, 171, 171A and ending at 174A. This snake feature is not perfect. As it does result in e.g. Block 175B stack 338 has sharp corner(s) that may be aimed towards stack 340 of the same block. Similarly, block 174B's stack 302 has sharp corner(s) aimed towards stack 304. Stacks like 340 and 304 can see the "under-skirts" of 338 and 302 respectively. What this means is that if those living in these units "turn-left" can see the service yards of their neighbours. In addition, in the afternoon, sun may e.g. shine towards stack 338 and it may reflect sun-light towards stack 340:-

Is the Sales Brochure Useful for Feng Shui? Reading between the lines of the Sales Brochure
Case Study 8: Mixed Developments: Apartments & Shops + Roof-top aircon cooling fan/towers 1. I feel that one of most over-looked item to note is the roof-top aircon cooling towers of the mall. 2. For example: The Centris condo above Jurong Point. 2.1. Some clients realised that during T.O.P. they realised that their unit which is at a lower storey is in full view of the roof-top aircon cooling towers: Can hear the constant humming noise from the fans of the cooling towers. And on certain days can see the "smoke/moisture" rising from each of the cooling towers. 2.2. The most recent example is Hillion Residences. When a client wanted to purchase a unit, there. 2.3. I have advised my client to check out where is the cooling towers of Hillion Mall. As this is also a mixed-development. In addition to the location of the central rubbish bin etc... 2.4. Especially when the development ages. Hopefully, the cooling towner fans don't become noisier. 2.5. If a unit is too close to the cooling fans; the air-flow good or bad can affect the luck of that unit.
