A condo at a dead end street
1. Thanks for respecting Microsoft Corporation's intellectual property rights. The internet is not a free for all or lawless frontier. 2. Please refer to attachment. 2.1. Generally, the frontage e.g. the road leading to the condo seems acceptable under Shapes and Forms Feng Shui. 2.2. I believe the land marked in RED as "A" and in YELLOW "C" are flat land. And not a sudden drop. 2.3. If there is a sudden drop especially at marking "A"; and if no proper retaining walls; and in the event of a landslide, this is bad. 3. In fact, buildings in PURPLE "B" and GREEN "D" have poor (frontage) shapes and forms due to the road wayas shown in the arrows.

Strong Earth Ram
In case you do not realise: 1. Please be mind full or rather frankly, be considerate. 2. You mentioned that you appreciate that this website is so interative. 3. Yet, just imagine, pucking some raw data from some other website and ask to comment on it. 4. For example, you don't go to Google and ask them to comment on Apple's program. Likewise, you don't go to Apple's forum and ask them to comment on someone else thing. 5. Furthermore, the info you provided is so vague and I don't even know whether the raw data you uploaded is correct! 6. In fact, I can say for sure: 8 out of 10 Geomancy sites would get their Ba zi analysis ("wrong" or too superficial". http://forum.geomancy.net/phpforum/article.php?bid=2&fid=2&mid=31360&new= 7. Therefore, NO OFFENCE, please don't take advantage of this forum. And whether you take up our service or not is in material. This forum lasts so long and not whether it can motivate you or not. 8. Please exercise some respect.

Confused about my ba zi
1. Please note that although Ba Zi seems generic. However, ba zi can be as detailed or can be as general as this person had found out. 2. However, in my opinion, 8 out of 10 times; some geomancer would always take the easy way out to analyse a person's ba zi. 3. In this example, a person was surpised to find out that what his Master analysed is so basic that one should not call it a ba zi analysis. 4. Frankly, many so called Feng Shui masters and even nowadays, some even call themselves Grand Masters do get their ba zi analysis wrong. 5. Unfortunately, Geomancy.net end up has to "answer" to such skeptics after they realised that the reading given to them were too basic or general. 6. I reproduce this link for you to appreciate why many Masters get their ba zi analysis so very "wrong":- http://forum.geomancy.net/phpforum/article.php?bid=2&fid=2&mid=23906&new= 7. So far, there are many so called Ba zi analysis that is really so wrong (often very superficial). And Geomancy.net cannot be always, having to justify our case. 8. I can only say this "Caveat Emptor".

Confused about my ba zi
Hi Mr Koh, On 18-Apr-12 1:47 PM, xxxx Koh wrote: You are born in the year of Fire Dragon (based on your year pillar). But, your true element changes depending on your day of birth hence is dependent on your Day element. Which in this case is Wood Element (Yi-Hai pillar). So you are a Wood element person born in the year or Fire Dragon. This is because it is too general to classify everyone born in 1976 as a Fire Dragon, depending on which day you are born, even in a Fire Dragon year, there can be a water/wood/fire/earth/metal element dragon. Hence, the day element is the more accurate and element you should be using not the year element which is too generalized. You should ask your master that. I am not here to explain how he got your analysis. As far as I can tell you, the ba zi element depending on how deep you analyse the combinations and clashes, whether you consider the House of Life and House of Conception, can easily give you a inaccurate assessment of your element. As far as we are concerned, after considering all the five element combinations and harms, joins and changing of elements your five elements breakdown is as follows:- 6 Weakest Water 3 Weak Wood 2 Strongest Fire 1 Strong Earth 0 Extremely Weak Metal 43% 21% 24% 9% 0% So as person born in the Wood day. Favourable elements to make Wood strong are: Water (43%) + Wood (21%) = 64% Unfavourable elements that make Wood weak are: Earth (9%) + Metal (0%) = 9% Fire element is neutral as it will exhaust your wood and also strengthen the Earth so it cancel itself out. Since total Favourable elements 64% You should ask your master that. It all depends on how he assess your element strength is it weak or strong. To correctly assess a weak or strong element needs a lot of complex analysis to determine the changes in your ba zi chart, to consider the seasonal strengthen influence, the clashes and harms that strengthen or weaken your elements, the elements that combines and loses the original property and so forth. Even the two additional house of life and house of conception that most master won't analysis is also crucial to the final element strength. As far as we are concerned, we do all that assesment and break down the percentage clearly into the percentage value, so clients can see why they are weak/strong. Since the favourable elements and unfavourable depends on what is your five element strength. Therefore:- Strong Wood generally means favourable elements are Fire/Earth/Metal elements. Weak Wood generally means favourable elements are Water/Wood element. Since your master assessed your element as weak Wood, therefore, water and wood elements are favourable. However, as you can see above, based on mathematical breakdown of your five element chart, how can your wood be weak when it is so much stronger than the total elements that weak you. So hence your more favourable elements would be Earth/Metal/Fire. Of which Metal and Earth are more preferred. Simple as that. Gua vs Natal Home Stars
1. Do a search using the search feature on the top-left frame of this forum. 2. For example: Search: Lowest Common Denominator http://forum.geomancy.net/phpforum/article.php?bid=2&fid=1&mid=27643&new= http://forum.geomancy.net/phpforum/article.php?bid=2&fid=6&mid=29757&new= There are lots more links; the above are just two of the threads. 3. The attached illustration shows that there is a "SCIENCE" in Feng Shui. 4. Furthermore, from the illustration:Gua or Kua has limited usage.

In addition, holistic bazi also has many other considerations: 1. When is one's business opportunities 2.Business partners 3. Luck period : 6 month / 1 year / Big Luck etc.. The above are some of the additional information that needs to be looked into. And not just like as if since "Water is my wealth" : kind of like; it is suppose to be a slam dunk type of thing! Or not good to be naive about ba zi. Thus bazi is just a guideline or general infoand not elevated into god like or a bible or encyclopedia of sorts.

Gua vs Natal Home Stars
These are some considerations: 1. You are "nearly there, but it is still not the end of the destination". 2. Using the Gua number is a vague method of applying holistic Feng Shui. 3. This is simply because Gua (Kua) is based only on YYYY (Year) of birth. 4. Again, in order to compare an orange with an orange, the FIVE ELEMENTS concept need to be applied. 5. Flying Star uses the five elements concept. And there are such a thing as a STRONG element. For example #5 is a STRONG earth element. #6 is a STRONG metal element. 6. Under "peanut" GUA method: there is no such thing as STRONG or WEAK! So how to compare this GUA thing (an APPLE) with an ORANGE? Wrong to do so! 7. Lowest Common Denominator (LCM) 7.1. Ba Zi can be broken down into the LCM e.g. Strong Earth or Weak Earth. 7.2. There is a difference being a Strong Earth or a Weak Earth or etc..... 7.3. Here, once ba zi is at its lowest common denominator; Flying Star is also based on this common denominator; Here, one can then say that one can compare an ORANGE (BA ZI element) with another ORANGE (Flying Star stars of a sector). 8. Strong Earth Ram
These are some considerations: 1. Please refer to a very recent posting with careers for a Strong Earth Person. You wrote: According to the bazi computer generated report, im a strong earth ram and my wealth is water. If I am suppose to put up a business, anything that related to water (example: water refilling business, fishery) will make me wealthy. Just a clarification on Water is my wealth. 2. Please refer to the same illustration which I had made a sample for an earlier example. 3. Wow! You wrote or sound like as if it is AUTOmatically make you wealth! Really, VERY STRONG WORDS! 4. Even if you want to be a business person CAN YOU? Please check out the attachment. Which has some REFERENCE to the high sounding words....

Career change
Please refer to the attachment. For your case, since your Ten Deities are not known, just look at your career in relation to: 1. Career with Wealth 2. Career with Power and Authority (often can rise to the top, but pay is a question mark. 2.1 For example, someone opens a new business and calls himself: Managing Director aka Mad Dog (MD). As to whether he makes money is another matter. 3. In your case, banking for a Strong Earth person is considered a career that is so so or if you cannot find a career associated with your wealth or power and authority. This category is like career that can put food on the table, that's all. 4. Attached is a sample chart of another person who is also a strong earth person.

Period 8 - E1 vs. SE2/3 houses
These are some considerations: 1. Under Period 9, without a doubt, be it MS#9 and or WS#9 (other than the palace or base star); 2. The above two stars are suppose to be the most important current prosperity stars. 3. Where Water Star #9 = career and overall luck 4. Where Mountain Star #9 has to do more with networking, relationships (especially) family and health luck. 5. Thus, if #9 is the MS trapped or locked at the centre, it is advantages to have clear space at the centre of the home. This goes the same as if the WS is trapped at the centre palace. 6. Again, how bad depends on a HOLISTIC assessment of the entire home: external environment, the site, the plot, the building ... etc...

outside pond ok?
1. This year, whatever you do; don't fill in or "dig earth" at SE sector. As this year, the five yellow and Grand Duke is at this sector. 2. In theory, so long as you don't do major hacking / drilling at SE, adding a fountain, at that sector is still ok.

Bedroom with Walk-In Wardrobe
You wrote: 1.) Will there be issue if my feet faces the sliding glass door to the walk-in wardrobe? I heard that it is very bad fengshui to have feet from bed facing doors. In real life situations, especially for some who live in a landed property. If a coffin was brought into the home for the final rites; the deceased person's legs were to face the main entrance door. This is common sense. As when the time to sent the casket away, this is the most efficient method. Thus for an apartment; frankly, even if your legs face your Walk-in wardrope entrance, it does not fit the above two paragraphs I wrote earlier. So, it should not be an issue. Unless, the legs face the bedroom door, and the bedroom door can later "lead to the main entrance". It would only be an issue if you still feel unease or if many of your friends or relatives keep on harping on this concern. Then of course, psychologically, you won't fee good about it anymore. You also wrote: Also, there might be some minor reflection from the sliding glass door. Will this be an issue as well? Please check out many of my past messages on this: e.g. many new developments have windows and window bays all full glass. If you did not draw the curtains, the glass on such bay windows would reflect towards the bed. Same for some who were concern of plasma tv sets with reflective screens. 2.) Also, I heard that having a room-in-room invites mistress. Is this applicable for walk-in wardrobe? Anyway to avert it? Logically speaking if you have a room (bedroom) within a (bedroom) this would sound like a concubine's nest! But a bedroom-in-a study cum wardrope is not exactly TWO bedrooms rite? Nowadays, nearly all landed property master bedrooms and even condos and apartments do have attached bedroom-with-wardrope. Not a concern to die-off!

Hanging Chinese Leek or Suan Mao
Spotted. Above this factory's main entrance door is a bunch of Chinese Leeks (vegetable). Chinese leeks are popular during Chinese New Year. As eating leeks symbolises ever increasing wealth! In addition, Chinese leeks also means: Purity and Justice. And for those who felt that they were wrongly accused; use Chinese Leeks to gain attention for a trial. In modern homes, some Chinese still hang a bunch of leeks above the main door with the hope of increasingwealth for the year.

Symbolism: A Split exactly at middle = separation?
1. Under symbolism in Feng Shui, it is considered inauspicious to join TWO single beds to form a single bed for a COUPLE. 2. As this symbolises a split exactly at the middle of the bed representing separation and leading to a divorce. 3. What about the bed-head design? 3.1. Again, this is also based on symbolism in Feng Shui. 3.2. Where possible, TRY to avoid purchasing a queen or king sized bed with a bed-head that has a LINE EXACTLY at the middle of the bed-head board. 3.3. As when we look closely, we will see that there is a split e.g. RED LINE exactly in the middle of the bed. 3.4. A bed-head with multiple squares and if these squares are ODD numbers in a horizontal line; then this is (under symbolism) a better design. 3.5. In the attached photo; did you see a bed-head that has 7 horizontal squares?

With Simplified Chinese, the characters has reduced the number of character strokes. So would this impact our Chinese name? So does our Chinese name follow traditional strokes or simplified stroke?
Cecil Lee replied to myfs_154695's topic in Chinese Name Analysis (Xing Ming Xue) = Change Name or New born's Name1. This is not under the field of Feng Shui. Feng Shui is about earth luck. 2. No issues if your name was correctly selected based on traditional strokes. And if it is revised to simplfied strokes. But it name strokes were selected without reference to traditional then this is a different story. 3. All name strokes must be based on traditional big five. As in ancient times, there is no such thing as simplified. Simplified is new.
