Left over units in a TOPed condominium?
1. Yes, in my opinion, I do agree with you. 2. From past experience, two major concerns come into my mind:- 2.1 Often, many of such unit(s) are affected by "direct" sun-light. For example, many of the units "living areas" face the afternoon sun 2.2Somehow, many people perhaps, felt that for whatever reasons, the Feng Shui of these units are not good. (Especially poor view or facing say the rubbish dump / power station / privacy issues i.e. facing HDB flats or temples or mosques. 2.3 Low floor (storey) and other reasons. Other reasons include some developers perhaps, did not want to do a "force sale". Or someone booked the unit but subsequently failed to get financing or became a bankrupt. Quote: Jason N. wrote: Just want to check if it would be wise to consider left over units in a TOPed condominium project. Conventional wisdom seems to suggest that there must be something wrong with these units, that's why they are still unsold after the project TOP was in 2006...

House Trigram Formula and Flying Star Formula
1. We human beings have our birthday (Date and time of birth). 2. Similarly, a home also has it's birthday. Flying star Feng Shui is about the "birthchart" of a home. 3. In general, the home is considered as the environment we live in. 4. Thus, it is always good to first plot the chart of the home's birth chart e.g. use Flying Star Feng Shui, first. 5. Next, we then apply the Eight House (East/West group). Applying this concept should be considered as "NICE-TO-HAVE" and not a "MUST-HAVE". 5.1. For example, even under Shapes and Forms Feng Shui, often even for a bedroom, there are limited ways to place a bed. As there is the bedroom door, often, the attached bathroom; window and even built in wardrope. Thus, even if the Eight House concept recommends placing a bed-head in a direction but it conflicts with the layout plan, then, "too-bad", we can't place it as the book says, so... 5.2 As we are just the occupants, we should first and foremost apply Flying Star Feng Shui to correct the imbalances (or to enhance) the home. And subsequently, we humans, need to stay in the home, we can then "Nice-to-have" try to see if we can apply this Eight House (East/West Group).

Any problem for EC 'The Rivervale
I have 3 friends stay at the property name called 'The Rivervale' 1 facing punggol park, 1 facing the temple and another one is facing the Swimming pool. The husband staying at the one facing punggol park and temple died at mid age (around 43) and the one facing swimming pool is alway sick. Any big problem of the Feng Shui there, anyway can solve? In my opinion, it is best to seek expert advise, as no two units even on different levels are the same. Coincidentally, another development (a few km away from The Rivervale) called "The Rivervale Crest" condo has some problems, also:- 1. Please see my forum posting on Tue, 29 Jul 2003, 06:39 AM "2. Rivervale Crest I had previously reviewed this condo. I really do not like this condo. And have turned down several new requests for on-site audit here." http://forum.geomancy.net/phpforum/article.php?bid=2&fid=43&mid=13922&new= 3. Part III - Concave Mirror Type
1. This isa "commercial" concave mirror. 2. It was purchased at the "Meji" store in Marina Square, Singapore. 3. Price is Singapore $9.00 or approximately US$6.60. 4. Notice that the mirror is "caved-in" or concave.

Ornamental Cannon
1. This is a true story: 1.1 Hong Kong Shanghai Bank (HSBC) buiding in Hong Kong was built, first. 1.2 Bank of China's (BOC) building came later. And it is shaped like a Chinese sword. 1.3 To counteract this, HSBC bank shaped it's helicopter pad in the form of a cannon aimed back towards BOC. 1.4 To make the story short, later on, the Cheung Kong center placed two18th century cannons (or twin cannons) against another building. 2. So you want to place a cannon? Even if it is an ornamental cannon, avoid facing inwards of a home. At best, it should be aimed out of the home. If your home has a balcony than "like a goal keeper" aim it out or clear of the home!

Kitchen Stove
1. If one wants to play safe, one can always readily purchase a Feng Shui ruler to try to work out favourable measurements as much as one can. 2. In most countries, the kitchen cabinet width is always 2 feet. 2 feet is an auspicious measurement. And because of our size and height, many of the height of the stove range between 34 inches to 35 inches. In fact, in the past, the stove is approximately 34 inches in height and the sink (is suppose to be higher) at

How to counter fire and water
1. Contrary to popular belief, please take note that a closed fridge is considered as belonging to the metal element. 2. Thus, for those who wish to have more metal in the kitchen may consider a bigger fridge. Thus it is acceptable to have the fridge face a stove in many instances. While trying to avoid the basin (washing tap) facing the stove. This is no good.

Questions about Eight House chart
1. Appreciate if you do not post multiple postings. This and the past. As all messages in this forum are moderated. Quote: Melody V. wrote: Thanks for your help. I have considered the 2 factors you mentioned. First, my mother's bedroom will have blinds so that will take care of the sunset. Plus, she can always use airconditioning. My mother is hardly at home in the afternoons. 2. Above, sounds reasonable.I forgot that many homes in theUS use cheaper materials like gypsum board panels and insulation. Where-elseespecially inSingapore, our homes are built with concreteand bricks - which tend to absorb heat and later in the evening say at 7pm onwards, start to release it's heat. This can be unberable. Quote: Melody V. wrote: Second, the natal chart of the West sector is #6m, #1w and #6b so I guess the stars are good for her? 3. In general, #1water on it's own is suppose to be good as it is good "future" prosperity water star. Although there are too many #6 which may drown the water star. Nevertheless, they are much better to have and to "hold" than #5 or #2 (sickness) or #3 or #7. Another good thing is that being strong metal #6 x2 it should help when such bad stars like #5 flies into the bedroom.

Ba Zi Month Pillars
It is recommended that oneshould be convinced or at least find out which is more accurate. With this, discard the reading that was done differently. Quote: Yan Fen O. wrote: How would that affect the accuracy of the analysis as a result, when a person has 2 different month pillar read by different FS masters?

West is daughter's worst direction
1. Please note that many of the concepts umder the Eight House are considered "Nice-to-have" (NTH) and not a "Must-have" (MH). 2. Under this concept:- First Choice:It is NTH a person "placed" in a good sector of a home. And it is even better if the person can say study facing their good direction. 3. One has to be realistic, if - especially because of the layout of the room, one cannot sit and study facing one's good direction: this is considered as "JTB". 4. What is JTB? Just too bad! (full stop) There is nothing else under this concept that can be used or worked. Apply other concepts like: harmonising her bedroom with her ba zi colours, checking the Flying Stars ..... etc....

Quote: Anonymous wrote: Please advice as to the 3 killings, Grand duke and Five Yellow. 1. This forum alone has more than 10 years of resources. I am sure, it does not hurt your fingers to do a SEARCH for each of the above. However, if you are too .... lazy to do so, then, I have summarised it below:- 1.1. 3 Killings As it says! Three persons stand facing each other and try to kill each other. The person left standing wins the award known as: THREE KILLINGS award. 1.2. Five Yellow This is based on some call it "Karma". Where, you hand 5 yellow ribbons to each of your friends. And make sure that each ribbon has a profile of a convicted person who had done some serious crime. Ask each of your friend(s) to pray daily at Five O'Clock in the morning. You will sure be blessed with good fortune. 1.3 Grand Duke The site is down. But, when it is up, later, will give you the link. There are Five men. You are to find out which person is the grand duke! CLUE 1: For information, the grand duke was castrated when he was young. He was formerly an Eunich in the Ching's court. CLUE 2: Look at the photos of each person carefully. And focus on their trousers. If it does not buldge, is the Grand Duke!- dzi beads

You should check out this MORE powerful than the dzi. More information on Commercial Products:- http://wiki.geomancy.net/wiki/Commercial_Products "When the buying stops, the selling can!"- Type and Placement of Wind chime
1. All wind chimes that are used in Feng Shui are generally:- 1.1. No fancyful colours. They are either copper plated or bronze plated ones. 1.2. They should often be 6 hollow rods - not solid rods. 1.3. They can also be two materials e.g. wooden roof supporting the rods with a wooden clinger. 2. Where to place it? 2.1. By feel or trial and error. If you are not into using proper Feng Shui tools to analyse a home, then you simply to go by feel or trial and error. 2.2. Only after doing a proper analysis, the Feng Shui master or even a DIY person, would then see if it is feasible to place a wind chime. Your question is just like: - You: (You walk into an A and E 24 hours emergency ward). You: Without going to the proper triage check, you walk unannounced into the doctors room. You: Ask the doctor... "Doctor what's wrong with me?" Doctor: "How would I know?" "You better wait your turn, and go thru the triage check by my nurse before barging into my office!" 3. This is a typical example of many people who have not found what is the "actual" leak in their home or office. And yet, the main consideration is either to enhance using a wind chime or wrongly place it to fix a wrong leak! 4. This is why, many people, say... Feng Shui cannot work! Quote: Anonymous wrote: Can I ask if a eight rod chime and combined with a wood is it ok to hang it at the main door or what is the best windchime and where to place it.- dzi beads

Further to what I had mentioned, this is an insight into the store that sold you the fantastic dzi beads:- Note: As a Chinese, my great-grand parents, grand parents and for that matter, my parents certainly had never come across such an item called "dzi beads". Dzi beads are a modern sales invention, with the hope of making the dreams of the SELLER come true! If you are not the SELLER but the BUYER : "STU-PIG".... http://forum.geomancy.net/upload/will-I-be-fleeced.gif- Kueh Pai-Ti
1. This is a healthy "fast food" meal. 2. The fillings used is the same used for making the "popiah". 3. Pictures show the "cup" holding the fillings. The pictures shows the "Kueh pai-ti".Usually the Kueh Pai-Ti is garnished with prawns and more.. but the picture shows it isgarnished only with chilli.- What is the cure for the three killings in East?
1. Please note that one should not be confused with:- 1.1. Tai Sui or Grand Duke of Jupiter 1.2. The Three Killings 1.3. The Five Yellow 2. What are common with all three? They are looked at in terms of the Annual Stars. (Yearly). 3. There are alot of information on them, thus I am not going to elaborate on each item. 4. Not sure, why this year, many users seems to have the WRONG idea such as your question: "Is it okay to face the East in 2009?" 5. Just recently, I had clarified that only the Tai Sui or Grand Duke, is there a link between facing or not facing.... Otherwise, where in the world do both of you (the other recent forum message) say about facing the Three killings or facing the Five yellow? 6. "facing the Three killings or facing the Five yellow?" Please discard this two rubbish ideas, please! 7. You mentioned: "Are there any cures to suppress three killings?" You might as well ask this question: " Is there a cure for AIDs or CANCER?" Gosh! 8. The simple idea is : Not to do any renovation works in the three killings and/or the five yellow area (that's all) FULL STOP! 9. Again don't get the silly idea that "don't distrub" means:- Cannot turn on TV, cannot walk into the bedroom, cannot do this and that.? Quote: Amanda Y. wrote: Hello Master Lee, For 2009, the three killings is located in the East. What is the cure for that? Is it okay to face the East in 2009? What if the bedroom is located in the East? Are there any cures to suppress three killings? Please advice. Thanks.- Cleansing of your home
1. Frankly, cleansing varies with different cultures. And races. 2. In the Far East, most people who consider themselves down with luck, often "flower bathe" themselves instead of cleansing the home:- http://forum.geomancy.net/phpforum/article.php?bid=2&fid=1&mid=16295&new= 3. Again, the above "cleansing ritual" may not appeal to people outside of the Far East. 4. In the Far East (especially Singapore, Malaysia, Borneo, Sarawak and Thailand), "cleansing" a home means that the home is "dirty" (some felt that some evil entity stays) in the home. 5. However, I believe, you meant that your house is "clean" but you are purely out of luck, that's all.- Remedy bad FS in East sector on natal chart?
Quote: Do you still recommend living in this bedroom? It seems all the bad stars are in this bedroom. Would appreciate your help. Thanks in advance. 1. This question reminds me of the concept " We stay here, you don't". "We" meaning the owners and family members of a home. And "You"often meaning the person who gives the advice". 2. For those practising Feng Shui whether professionally or non-professionally, should give advice based on as much facts as possible. 3. For example, in the above, what happens if this is your onlyw bedroom or no matter how, a family member have to occupy this bedroom. Otherwise, end up sleeping in the living room couch or bath-tub. 4. For everyone giving such an advice, it is so, so simple to say "Yes, you must never, never sleep in this bedroom. As mentioned under para 2, not all facts are known, here. Someone can give a 5 minute advise and then you have to follow for "life?" 5. Based on your information, luckily there is a base #6(which represents) big metal. Thus, although may not be enough to"destroy" #5 plus #2, this is already a good start. 6. I amgoing to go thru all the various cures, as there are already many examples and documented cures for #5 and or #2. 7. In addition, time dimension is also to be considered. 7.1 In general, under 2009, theannual Flying Star at East is star #7 (weak metal). Whichagain is metal, not the best "metal element" but better than say annual #9 or #5 or #2 within the sector. If you really want justmonitor the monthly #5 and #2 when it flies to that room thisyear.- Missing Corners for my HDB apartment
1. Please note that some sectors may be considered protusions and may not be missing corners depending on how one interprets more "complex" layout plans. 2. Usually, for a very important missing corner e.g. such as missing corner at NW (male breadwinner), one of the most common methods is the use of a "plain" concave mirror (as shown) in this url link below:- http://forum.geomancy.net/phpforum/article.php?bid=2&fid=19&mid=10393&new= 3. Usually, mirrors inside the home is used to extend the look of the interior (making it look bigger). Thus not all walls is suitable for the mirror. Another common area of placing a mirror is next to the dining table. It would be good if the outside of the wall is a missing corner. 4. The use of mirror(s) is a common practise by many Feng Shui practitioners. And the concave ones are often placed facing out of the home e.g. outside of the window "usually waist" height. Usually, best not to aimed it at another person's home if it is very close-by (if possible) 5. Another method often used by some Feng Shui practitioners to "patch" a missing corner is to apply very general concepts: 5.1. What is the element at that sector and add an "ehancement to that sector": 5.2 For example, if there is a missing corner at :- North, some Feng Shui practitioners recommend a water feature East, wood or a plant at that sector West - metal object etc... 5.3 Placing symbols of that element in that sector:- For example, if there is a missing corner at North, a painting of a water feature - instead of real water feature or East - a painting full of greenery or green colour or a dragon figurine to represent wood or green etc...- Just do it!
- Main door at NE or E?
1. You should be more concerned with some of the points found under this link:- http://www.geomancy.net/wiki/Want_to_build_your_dream_home%3F 2. For example, a frontage at NE and East will vastly affect how the water (rain water) drains from your plot of land to out of your home. This may sound very simple, but in general for most homes, there are often two directions wheredrainage will equate with Wealth and the third direction will equate with "Power and Authority" for the person staying there. 3. The saying goes " a little knowledge is a dangerous thing"! And for proper Feng Shui to work, it is needs a holistic approach. 4. What you are trying to practise is both "Fast Food" and "kindergarten" Feng Shui. No wonder, many later blame why Feng Shui cannot work. It is also similar to the concept of "a bad workman always blames their tools" not themselves! Anonymous wrote: We are west group persons- kua7 &8. We will start building our home this year 2009. That makes it a period 8 house. Our rectangular lot is sitting west facing east(Tui lot). Back yard is along northwest, west and southwest. The north and south sides are the long side of the rectangle with both sides adjacent to our neighbors' property. Only access to our lot from the road is from the east side. Now we are confused where should we face our main door. I understand East and Southeast are inauspicious directions for us. While Northeast is devil's door. How should we position our main door? facing East or NE? 5. It is better in the above example to throw a coin and see (Head = East?) and (Tails = NE)? Try to use the coin and check the result.
