Contrast this with HDB Pine Vista where the precinct pavilion is at one corner. And the closest stack is #22.

HDB Woodlands Spring BTO launched in May 2017 and the Precinct Pavilion As there is a requirement for a precinct pavilion; very much understand the architect's constrain in placing it. Unfortunately, Block 799B stack 131 seems to have a "front row" seating facing it directly. Sincerely hope that one's festive mood is not damped .. when there is a wake / funeral during one's festive period (mood)... Stack 129, 131 and 111 are also the closest to the precinct pavilion.

These are some considerations: 1. White pollution = noise. 1.1. This has more to do with an individual and family consensus. There are some who simply loves such "noise". Or rather, they are not adverse to e.g. children rounding around the playground. 1.1.1. Anyway, most of the time; I personally observe children appearing at the playgound during the sunset timing e.g 6pm plus onwards. And often, since it is not a badminton court or basketball court; usually after 8pm.. seldom see young kids running around the playgound during that time. 1.1.2. The children's noise may vary depending on which day. Most likely noiser during weekends or public holidays. 2. A playground is a blessing in disguise? Why? 2.1. Just like a swimming pool or pond; nothing else can build about it. Thus allow clear space or "Ming Tang" Bright Hall. Thus if one's living room and bedrooms are e.g. 2nd storey and higher would enjoy clear space within the confines of the playground or futher. 2.2. Also; it means that no other stacks/units are facing that unit. 2.3. No harm having the vibrant yang qi of children at the playground. 3. But of course, if one is like the Snow White and the Seven Dwarf = Mr Grumpy then.. don't choose a unit facing the playground. 4. Most of the equipment at the children playground seldom if any acts like a poison arrow in the form of a beam aiming towards the unit (if any). 5. In fact, most of the time, usually there are more noise coming from a pool then that of the activity at the play ground.

These are some considerations: 1. First choice is within marking A. 2. 2nd choice is at B. (Best to be closer to the window area/zone) 3. Off the shelf altar tables use correct Feng Shui ruler measurements. 4. Built-in to conform to Feng Shui ruler measurements. For example, the table-top should be at 126cm or close to it. 5. Please note that the location marked does not consider the location of an air-con unit. For example, if location marked at B has an air-con unit directly above it; then B should not be considered. As location A has a wider range; so long as it is not below an air-con unit and not directly facing the TV unit is okay. 6. Do take note that the Chinese often pray to odd number of gods. Thus if one only prays to Guan Yin; then this is one = okay. The buddha may be considered as a sparate entity. (in this case, then it is fine or okay).

The newly launched BTO: HDB Dakota Breeze. Fortunately, the sharp corner of the MSCP car park from marking A to B is not aimed towards any stack(s). However, if there is a lamp post at marking X. And if it is at the same level of say a unit at stack 70; and if the lamp post is aimed towards it's living room balcony; then this is less than ideal.

I suppose the UC or Utility Centre at the ground level is no issue. Perhaps cleaner's store-room. At least it is good that the MSCP is parallel to the stacks. Ideally, the units in stack 975 and 977 is two storeys higher than the roof garden on the multi storey car park is preferred. This is because in some instances, if there are lamp posts on the roof garden, hopefully it does not slice thru a unit's living room windows (difficult to neutralise) as compared to it slicing towards a bedroom's windows.

This type of fan with or without lights is generally okay for a bedroom.

What a name to call a building ... Jurong Kechil area

1.1. This piece of writing triggers a distant memory. 1.2. Mr. Kenneth Tsang, a former NS clerk, was a standout member of our unit. Following his national service, he pursued marketing studies in England. His choice to continue his education set him apart from the rest of us, making him one of the older soldiers in the group. 1.3. Upon joining our unit, Mr. Tsang was noticeably older than the majority of us who had recently completed our national service. Despite the age gap, he was a warm, amiable, and cheerful individual. 1.4. Our interactions were primarily confined to annual reservist training, emergency recalls, and IPPTs. Outside of these activities, personal contact was minimal. 1.5. We had already gone through several in-camp trainings together. 1.6. During our initial in-camp training, I assigned Mr. Tsang to the HQ, where he helped out with administrative duties. 1.7 Two Internal Security Officers (ISD) approached me after his detention to gather information about his food preferences, habits, and other details. 1.8 The officers' visit was conducted respectfully within regular working hours, not late at night. 1.9 He missed one or two subsequent in-camp sessions but later resumed his training. 1.10 The in-camp training included 9 high key and 6 low key sessions. Key personnel like myself were required to attend most sessions, while others, like Kenneth, only joined the high key sessions. 1.11 Our work-week consists of 10 days, different from the standard 7-day week. Therefore, we only get a day off after completing 10 days of work.
