Under Shapes and Forms Feng Shui if given a choice: HDB Senja Heights is preferred over HDB Senja Valley. Here, Senja Valley is next to the busy / noisy Kranji Expressway. A headache if one's unit is facing this noisy expressway. Any day, I would still prefer HDB Senja Heights because of the above.

Senja Heights Sales Brochure: Site Plan and Floor Plans senja-heights.pdf HDB Senja Heights is a small estate of 552 units close to the fringe of Bukit Panjang's West-NW sector. Fortunately, it is buffered by a future park and future HDB high-rise residental estates. As these estates are just next to Kranji Expressway (noisy). The facing directions are either N3 or S3 facing stacks/units. N3 Stacks/units 301, 303, 281, 283, 309, 311 313 & 315 has the double auspicious #8's wasted at the "back" of the unit. Thus not as favourable. S3 Stacks 285, 287, 289, 291 305, 307, 317 and 319 and above N3 stacks are better suited to East group persons. As both frontage enjoys the double auspicious #8 wealth stars. And furthermore their facing directions has water. Bring great wealth. 1. Attached, please find a sample illustration of a Flying Star Period 8, S2 chart. 2. In the attachment: it is advantages for the [8] & [8] which symbolises : Prosperity, good wealth at the frontage of the home. Vs a N2 facing where this good stars are wasted at the "rear" which is usually the kitchen/yard area. 3. The only concern for a S2 facing chart is that so often, the kitchen may be located at NW sector. Which in Feng Shui is called: "Fire at Heaven's Gate". And this can affect the male breadwinner's career luck. 4. Thus for a South facing (S2) best to select a unit where the kitchen is either at North or North-east sector is preferred.

Thus as a result = clear space. Clear space is an added bonus if a unit facing a pool of water as the "Bright Hall" effect is larger i.e. much more wider space. As compared to a home that faces another building or lots of trees in it's immediate frontage. You wrote: is this considered as poison arrow to the unit and can the swimming pool in front dispel the negative energy? Thus to answer your question: NO. In fact, a swimming pool in front means that there may be nothing to block a poison arrow or edge of another building. However, several factors need to be taken into consideration: 1. Distance between the two blocks. 2. Where is the edge of the neighbour's block/stack aimed at? An opening of one's unit? Yes/No.

How about compass readings from an alternative source: onemap.sg using Singapore government data map: data.gov.sg? Onemap.sg has yet to mark the outline of Park Place Residences multi complex development. However, again, I took reference from Sims Avenue at the stretch occupied by Park Place Residences:- Compass Readings of Sims Ave within Park Place Residences plot of land shows 82 and 262 degrees respectively. Thus: Streetdirectoy.com = 81 Onemap.sg = 82 Sales brochure = 72 Here, it seems to suggest that the Sales brochure's North marking is off by 9 to 10 degrees range. As mentioned in an earlier thread, it is safer to depend initially on our local streetmaps (be it onemap.sg or streetdirectory.com). And after T.O.P. via on-site compass readings.

How accurate is Park Place Residences North marking on the Sales Brochure? Sales Brochure vs Streetdirectory.com shows a discrepancy of 9 degrees: As Park Place Residences. Fortunately, under Flying Star Feng Shui Stacks 12, 13, 21 and 22 still faces E1 based on compass readings from the Sales Brochure or streetdirectory.com Similarly Stacks 15, 16, 17, 18, 19 are facing W1. Which is considered more accurate? Local street maps or Sales Brochure? Park Place Residences upper border seems to be parallel to Sims Avenue (road). And because and all streetdirectory maps should often be pretty accurate compared to the readings of the Sales Brochure. For example, in the next thread, I will compare streetdirectory.com 's with that of onemap.sg which uses the official data.gov.sg maps done by professional surveyors+ satellite system to do a survey. For now, this 9 degrees difference between the two is less of a worry given that in some other instances it can mean the difference between an E1 or E2 facing. And W1 becoming W2 facing. Under Flying Star Feng Shui, E1 vs E2 or W1 vs W2 charts are different. And allows for different interpretation. When completed, it is the responsibility of the Feng Shui master to go on-site to confirm the exact readings.

Although this is in the distant future; Frankly it is good for a Long thinking government to address this by the next few years. For example: perhaps a fixed renewal rate eg 7 to 12 percent similar to countries like U.K. Etc.. This is just good governance.

Lights, camera, action...Politics is equally about exposure... I mean advertising/marketing.. What more if Politicians can be perceived to be subliminally visible day and night. Now we know why in every estate our MPs Make sure that they prominently display their face all year round... Kudos... starting early... four years before the next elections..no wonder... landslide almost everytime... "We are always there -- not necessarily for you .. but we are highly visible. What Opposition? Let them bite the dusts" Thus in the event that some claim that they only seem to "SEE" their MPs once every 4 years... This is simply not true! LOL ?

Is the door of the HDB apartment facing the electrical riser?
It is highly unlikely that the riser door is reflective. If not then; not ideal but equally not a major issue. What most concerns Water classics is the drainage hole : immediately facing the main door.
